“La Dame à la Licorne” — Silvered bronze box by Line Vautrin
France, circa 1940–1950

One of the most poetic creations by Line Vautrin.

Crafted in silvered bronze, this box features a stylized female figure standing beneath a series of horizontal lines reminiscent of a curtain or tapestry, a subtle reference to the celebrated medieval cycle The Lady and the Unicorn.

Inspired by the famous tapestries preserved at the Musée de Cluny in Paris, Vautrin revisits a timeless symbol of poetry, desire and refinement through her own singular visual language. Reduced to its essential forms, the medieval narrative is transformed into a sculptural composition of remarkable elegance and mystery.

A beautiful example of Line Vautrin’s ability to weave together history, symbolism and imagination, creating objects that continue to resonate across generations.

Lined with cork.
Stamped “LINE VAUTRIN” on the reverse.

“Fiji” by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini — a sculptural dialogue of light, colour and form.

A striking Murano glass vase from the celebrated Fiji series by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini, introduced in 1998.

Its subtly faceted rim reveals a refined diamond-shaped opening, while the thick encased glass creates remarkable optical depth. Layers of deep cobalt blue, luminous turquoise and vibrant acid yellow appear suspended within clear crystal, shifting beautifully with the light and depending on the viewing angle.

Balancing geometric precision with sculptural presence, Fiji perfectly reflects Fulvio Bianconi’s late creative exploration for Venini — timeless, bold and unmistakably Venetian.

Blown in Murano in 1998.

Signed with diamond point: “venini ’98”

“Fish” by Tyra Lundgren for Venini, Murano, circa 1950.

A delicate composition of transparent Murano glass, animated by fine successive lines of blue, green and pale red, subtly suspended within the crystal-clear body of the fish. Applied fins and eyes in clear glass lend an ethereal presence, while the surface reveals a soft iridescence that shifts with the light.

Designed by Swedish artist Tyra Lundgren in 1936–1937 for Venini, this poetic model reflects one of the earliest and most significant female artistic collaborations within the Venetian glassmaker. Combining Scandinavian restraint with Murano virtuosity, it remains today a highly sought-after and rare creation.

Blown circa 1950 and bearing the acid signature on three lines: “venini murano ITALIA”.

Glazed ceramic table lamp by Guido Gambone
Italy, Florentine period, circa 1955

A sculptural ceramic table lamp by Guido Gambone, distinguished by its architectural four-lobed silhouette and beautifully balanced proportions.

Its crackled white glaze is animated by a geometric ochre-yellow decoration, drawn in thick rhythmic lines punctuated with small black dots, creating an almost labyrinthine composition that enhances the sculptural body of the piece.

A remarkable example of Gambone’s celebrated Florentine period, reflecting the artist’s unique dialogue between form, texture and decoration.

Signed underneath “GAMBONE ITALY” with the iconic donkey mark.

“Numeri” murrine plate by Laura de Santillana for Venini, Murano, Italy.

Glass plate composed of vibrant multicoloured murrine, designed by Laura de Santillana for Venini.

Part of the celebrated Numeri series, the composition unfolds through a rhythmic arrangement of coloured numerical motifs embedded within the glass — a poetic dialogue between craftsmanship, abstraction and visual language.

Granddaughter of Paolo Venini, Laura de Santillana played a major role in redefining contemporary Murano glass, blending technical mastery with artistic experimentation.

Signed with diamond point “venini italia 100/91” and bears its original plastic label.

“La Croix du Saint Esprit” — Pair of gilt bronze earrings by Line Vautrin
France, circa 1945

A refined pair of gilt bronze earrings illustrating The Cross of the Holy Spirit.

Each earring is composed of a stylized dove suspending an eight-pointed cross, centred with a small raised heart — a recurring and deeply poetic symbol in Line Vautrin’s universe.

Inspired by the insignia of the prestigious Order of the Holy Spirit, founded in 1578 by King Henry III, these earrings embody Vautrin’s singular ability to blend history, spirituality and sculptural elegance.

“Cucus” chair by Andrea Branzi
From the Domestic Animals series, Italy, 1985.

A sculptural chair in painted dark grey MDF, distinguished by a striking backrest composed of natural tree branches — a poetic dialogue between primitive material and architectural form.

Created as part of Andrea Branzi’s iconic Domestic Animals series, Cucus embodies the designer’s “neo-primitive” vision: where nature and design coexist in a symbolic and almost ritualistic presence.

Limited edition of 9 copies.
Our example numbered 2/9, signed on the side: “Andrea Branzi 2/9”.

“Informale” by Fulvio Bianconi
For Venini, Murano, Italy, circa 1950–1960

A sculptural blown glass vase from the Informale series, designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in the post-war period.

Freely shaped and organic in form, the vase is distinguished by a dynamic interplay of transparency and opacity, with subtle tonal variations and fluid contours that evoke the spontaneous language of abstract painting.

One of the leading figures of 20th-century Murano glass, Fulvio Bianconi (1915–1996) profoundly renewed Venetian glassmaking through his inventive forms and poetic approach to colour and material.

A rare and expressive work — emblematic of Murano glass at its most experimental.

La Dernière Cène (The Last Supper) by Line Vautrin
France, circa 1945

Gilded bronze paperweight representing Jesus, his saints and apostles during the Last Supper.

The reverse is engraved with a poem by Jacques Prévert — a satirical interpretation of the Christian religion, in which the apostles’ plates stand vertically behind their heads, evoking halos.

The sculptural composition, punctuated by a succession of stylised faces in relief, reflects Line Vautrin’s singular poetic and symbolic vocabulary.

Signed by stamping “LINE VAUTRIN”.
