The end of a king

A Palawa Joko vs Aurene sculpture

In this sculpture I wanted to portray the ultimate clash between some of my favourite Guild Wars 2 characters.

I absolutely loved sculpting both of them, and hope I did them justice 🩶

The sculpture is made out of polymerclay (Cosclay ) and painted with acrylics. Aurene’s crystal are coated with a mixture of gloss varnish and mica powders to make them extra shimmery

I am almost done with the “The end of a king” sculpture. Just need to finish up painting Aurene and it is finally done

This is my biggest sculpture to date, weighing in at almost 1,5kg

Made out of polymer clay (cosclay) over a wire and aluminium foil, and painted with acrylics

Everything is soldered, bezels are put in place, now I just have a lot of sanding and refining to do before the stones can be set

I’m still working on the ball-jointed doll of my sylvari reaper

This one is made out of Monsterclay and wooden beads for temporary joints. She is not fully hollow yet, and still need to start on her hands

The Monsterclay version will be used to make a casting mould

This is my first time sculpting a bjd and human(like) anatomy and is proving quite difficult. Please let me know if you have any tips or tricks

Painting Aurene will resume when the heat goes down, my paint dries faster than I can use it for the moment 🎨😢

I have been wanting to make my main character in Gw2, a sylvari reaper, into a ball-jointed doll

I finally started this rough sketch in Monsterclay, to test the fit and to see how all the channels would work

This one will probably take a while 😅
