We're bringing The Room back to Ghent for its 23th anniversary celebration at .

A very interactive screening. 4D is nothing compared to this. Perhaps just the most iconic cult film of all times.

Happy 2026, you weird film fans! 🥳Mark 𝟭𝟴 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 in your calendar - we're back at it with martial-arts gem Miami Connection. 🥷🎸

We follow the band Dragon Sound: five friends and taekwondo fighters who battle cocaine-dealing motorcycle ninjas in Miami. Action-packed with great music and attempts at emotional connection, Miami Connection is surprisingly compelling!

At Cinema Obscura Gent, we dig up the weirdest, wildest cult gems ever put on screen. Next on the menu: a movie so legendarily awful that it flipped all the way around into must-see territory.

Samurai Cop (1991) is about a Los Angeles cop who’s supposedly trained as a samurai but mostly just runs around in bad wigs, awkward s*x scenes, and terrible fight choreography. He teams up with his wisecracking partner to take down a Japanese crime gang, but the real battle is against continuity errors, wooden acting, and insane dialogue. It’s a glorious trainwreck that became a cult classic because it’s so bad it’s unforgettable.

What a night! 🥄🐶🌹

We were thrilled to be joined by 160 of you beautiful people for the 22nd anniversary screening of The Room. It was a hilarious spoon-throwing, quotable evening.
