New release “Zonder Zee” by Nachtzwaluw / Pestvogel & Esther Green:

“Zonder zee” is the result of an intense collaboration between Pestvogel and Esther Green over the course of over a year. “Zonder zee” can best be described as a hazy fever dream. Consuming the album in one sitting can be emotionally demanding, but is the intented way of consuming it, for maximum catharthic effect. The 45-minute album consists of soundscapes and drones infused with field recordings, and features a wide range of hard – and software synths and instruments. For the limited physical release, beautiful cassette tapes from the 1980s were recycled and overwritten with ‘Zonder zee’.
