Het Paviljoen is pleased to announce the artists selected for the 𝑬𝒚𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 exhibition programme:

Drawing from the history of Het Paviljoen, which served as the waiting room of the historic Bijloke hospital for pregnant patients, 𝑬𝒚𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 is an exhibition and public programme that explores waiting not as a passive or neutral act, but as one that engages multiple temporalities, bodily experiences, and power dynamics.

The programme will open on Monday February 24th with a solo intervention by Sanie Irsay, which will be activated by an event with Radio Svitlo on Thursday February 27th. More details coming soon.

We ask you to join us on our journey 'To Undiscovered Lands'! After seven months of hard work, it is finally time to look ahead at the culmination of this project.

Between 04/05/23 and 01/06/23 the grounds of Het Paviljoen will be opened up for an array of artistic and theorethic expressions. With the help of local and international artists we will guide you ‘To Undiscovered Lands’ in multiple forms. Our outside exhibition will be complimented by multiple events: a screening night at KASKcinema, a dinner with Sofia Tsyhanok, a workshop by Gemma Hansson Carbone, an special expo by Beljita Gurung and Charlotte Rood, and performances during the opening and the finissage. Besides this, we will exhibit a publication of a special journal combining theory contributions.

We, Yanna Kok, Léa Mainguy and Shino Matsuura, the current residents of Het Paviljoen are happy to announce our upcoming exhibition: To Undiscovered Lands.
