Hi, I figured it’s about time I introduce myself a little. My name is Matilde, I’m 23 and I am the founder of Q***r Koor Gent. I went to the Steinerschool in Ghent, tried studying applied psychology, and I’ll soon be starting a one-year typography course in Antwerp, hoping to work at a printing company after that.
When I’m not in Belgium you’ll probably find me in Italy playing card games with my family. In general I love playing board games with friends and singing along with the music.
I’ve been singing in the music school’s choir conducted by Johannes Dewilde since I was 8 years old.
In this choir I’m the general organiser, but I couldn’t do this without the help of Krezipski Thomas, and our amazing choir conductor Annelies Van Hemelen and of course the choir members. We can’t wait to start regular rehearsals in September to start working on our performance during the closing weekend of BROEI. If all goes well we’ll be able to invite you October 30th or the 31st.
