Laurie discovered dance at a young age through Ballroom and Latin, an experience that gave her a strong technical foundation, a multidisciplinary approach to movement, and a lasting fascination with Latin dance. While her salsa journey began with New York On2, the curiosity and discipline she developed through dancesport led her to explore the many rhythms that have shaped the type of salsa she enjoys - from NewYork shines and footwork to Cuban dances and Cabaret, Afro-Cuban movement and other Latin dance forms.

In her classes, she is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive environment where curiosity is encouraged, individuality is celebrated, and every dancer feels comfortable exploring, learning, and growing at their own pace.

ABOUT THE CLASS

✨This class is an invitation to build technique that reveals your personality. Together, we’ll learn how to use posture, body movement, isolations, and footwork with intention. By connecting each element to the music, styling becomes natural, expressive, and personal.

✨Through progressive exercises, we’ll develop body awareness, coordination, and confidence, leading to elegance and greater freedom of movement. The goal is not perfection, but presence—to feel comfortable in your body, trust your movement, and express your femininity in a way that feels true to you.
