On the last day of nurdle hunting on Blombos beach for .mate.project I found the least nurdles of the entire last month. Which is of course a good thing! I also did quite a bit of damage to the nurdle population to be honest, filling a huge ziplock bag, nurdle by nurdle. But the best work is done by the cleaning team of Spill Tech for sure, who day in day out, 6 days a week, clean beaches al the way to Cape Town after the mayor nurdle spill of 2020. Every year 230,000 tonnes of nurdles are lost, entering the environment at multiple points along the plastic supply chain. A supply chain approach and implementing best practice at each stage in the supply chain can prevent nurdle entering the environment!

This month we launched our new hub to support NGOs tackling nurdle pollution. Learn more about how your organisation can get involved by following the link in bio👆

If you ever wondered where these pristine come from that you find on the beach: the industrial complex in Écaussinnes is one of the sources. organised by with the presence of EU deputies, members of EU commission, representatives of Belgian and Walloon government .ries John Wante from and .be Can we please close this plastic dripping tap once and for all?
