We love a few days out with our children at theme parks, zoos, castles, exhibitions and more across the UK and beyond, so we thought we'd share our enjoyment of these places.

Avengers Campus at Disney Adventure World.

As much as I loved all of the amazing theming, shows, characters and the rides that Avengers Campus had to offer, it definitely feels like its missing something. Maybe a new headline attraction, as Flight Force was good but doesn't quite feel top tier to match the theming.

We caught the Black Panther & Black Widow rooftop show which was pretty cool and spotted a few other Marvel characters about. The Hulkbuster model in the Stark kitchen was great and the Quinjet outside the Flight Force building looks magnificent.

Spider Man WEB Adventures was also pretty good and was much better than I'd been lead to believe. It's not a patch on the Universal Orlando Spidey ride, but still fun.

With all of the Marvel films and characters at Disney's disposal, they could make this just as good as Galaxys Edge. Hope they add to it in the future.

Achievement unlocked. While at Parc Asteix I hit my 150th coaster credit on Toutatis!

They might still be rookie numbers to some, but we've all got to start somewhere.

Next stop 200.

We've just enjoyed a visit to Beeston Castle in Tarporley, Cheshire. We had a free English Heritage family pass from one of the newspapers and Beeston was one of the closer sites to us. Plus, its only 8 minutes from the Ice Cream Farm.

We had a good look around the castle ruins, went down to the caves, walked along the perimeter walls, checked out the recreation roundhouse and the historical exhibit with some artefacts on display. Topped off with a bite to eat from the cafe.

A nice place for a relaxing walk with some fantastic scenery.

The Iron Man animatronic in the preshow of Avengers Assemble Flight Force is fantastic. Its a real wow moment as youre gathered in the preshow room listening to a French Tony Stark and Captain Marvel making a plan to save the world. And we're included in the plan!

There were cranes galore and construction walls up all around Parc Astérix on our visit last week, as they prepare for their future expansions. The new 4-star, 300 room Odyssee Hotel is due to open in 2027 along with work continuing in the Greek section with additional family rides and dining due there too.

As well as this is the new British themed indoor land of Londinium, due in 2028, bringing with it a new Intamin Multi Dimension coaster, along with other rides, play areas and dining options.

We could have definitely done with an indoor area when it was hammering with rain last week! 😀

The concept art for the hotel and new Londinium area look great and these changes will push the park to the next level. We loved Parc Astérix, so we can't wait to head back and see the finished products!

Our week long trip to France is at an end. 🇫🇷

We had a great time exploring Paris, a great first visit to Parc Astérix and loved getting back to Disneyland Paris to see Disney Adventure World!

And now we need some rest as we've walked around 75 miles!

Back home after our 2 hour trip into Thorpe Park and we managed to get quite a bit done, despite the rain. Multiple rides on Swarm and Nemesis Inferno, plus a lap on Stealth, Colossus, Rush and a fast track on Hyperia.

Had a quick look in the newly renovated Launch Pad. Looks nice.

Back in the UK and we're at Legoland Windsor. Weathers hit and miss, but hey, why not start by getting soaked on Pirate Falls!
