A wonderful summer evening in Arles to celebrate the announcement of Hangar’s 2026–2027 programme.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our annual summer apéritif at La Maison du Hangar. It was a pleasure to share this moment with artists, curators, collectors, friends and photography lovers.

We were excited to reveal what’s coming next at Hangar:
Reinventing Photography, in collaboration with the Cnap, opens on 18 September 2026, followed by Flower Power, co-curated with Beata Nowak and Michel Poivert, opening on 21 January 2027.

Throughout the week, La Maison du Hangar also presents works by several artists of the Gallery, offering a glimpse into the exhibitions and collaborations to come.

Thank you for being part of this beautiful evening. See you soon in Brussels!

📚 Student’s Favorites: What we love at the Hangar Bookshop
Looking for your next photography insipration ? Our student team shares their current favorites from our shelves :

· Arthur - Claude & Lilly by Vincent Beekman
«Ce petit livre me touche particulièrement. »

· Lola - Eastern & Oriental Express by Stephanie Moshammer

· Pauline - Mirrors and Portals by Vivane Sassen

· Dina - Girls, on Boredom, Rebellion, and Being In-Between

· Lorenzo - Amazônia by Sebastião Salgado

· Zoée - Wonderland by Annie Leibovitz

📺 Details from "The House" By .anonymous.project / .shulman

🏡 "The House" is created as a living environment where the viewer feels at home, in a familiar place marked by the passage of time and memory, with furniture, objects, and lighting carefully selected. It becomes a place where the past takes shape, where one can touch, feel, and understand the memory embedded in each image. It is a tribute to ordinary lives, stolen moments, and the beauty of memories, reminding us that these fleeting, everyday instances are the very fabric of our existence.
