ALIGNED is Magicstreet's new kinetic laser and light installation.

ALIGNED explores the momentary perfection of structures falling into place - physically, visually, and conceptually. Three concentric circles glide along a shared axis, as lasers strikes them creating moving patterns and geometries, the space becomes a site of orchestrated alignment and interruption, presence and absence.

After many months of reflection and weeks of intense work, my new laser installation now complements the current program.

"Echoes of Distant Lights" invites a poetic and aesthetic reflection on light, space, and time. I imagined it as a journey through stellar landscapes: galaxies, nebulae, constellations, lights from the depths of time.

CUBE3 - Behind the scenes

Light in all its forms is our material, our pigments, space is our canvas, our clay that we sculpt and form. Like all artistic practice we experiment with matter, we sharpen our tools, we spend time creating, changing, polishing our stones.

The feeling of wonder, beauty and emotion arises when a balance among all the elements is achieved. This sensation is personal yet profoundly rooted within us. In this creation like others, every color, every intensity, every movement, every nuance is created, brick by brick, second after second in this exciting creative process until everything finds its place,, feels right.

Laser & Light installation by brussels artists Smilansky & Goldschmidt .

CUBE³ offers a showcase of the intangible and the immaterial aspect of light. The installation invites the public to an intense and contemplative experience of light, matter, space and sound.

The giant cube fills with laser beams and lights together with spatialized sound creation that guides the composition, alternating dramatic tensions and harmonic passages.

Brussels artists Ofer Smilansky and Antoine Goldschmidt collaborate on the design and production of monumental creations that combine real and virtual spaces, matter and light, impression and sensation.
