FEDEC wishes to share this collective statement initiated by Rosa Matthis regarding the situation at UP – Circus & Performing Arts.
We support the importance of safe and respectful working and learning conditions in the circus sector and we believe it is important to make space for the voices of those concerned and to encourage constructive dialogue.

⭐ Meet the schools of CIRCLE 2026

We are thrilled to reveal the schools selected for this year's edition of CIRCLE !

This October, under the FEDEC big top at .auch, 36 students from across Europe will come together to share original circus creations inspired by the theme "Where's the limit?" 🧠✨

Connected to the Take Care project, CIRCLE 2026 invites young artists to explore the notion of boundaries while reflecting on mental health and well-being.

We are happy to welcome:

Are you and a friend students or recent graduates from a FEDEC member school? Do you have charisma, a good sense of humour, and love being on the mic?
Join us at Circa Auch from 19–23 October 2026 and help set the tone for CIRCLE 2026!
As a duo, you'll introduce the CIRCLE performances and announce the Aftershows in front of festival audiences.

After two days of intensive handover, Carole is handing over the communication reins to Léna to embark on a new adventure: welcoming a new arrival to the family. 👶💛
We wish her a wonderful maternity leave! For the next nine months, Léna will be taking over as Head of Communications. ✨
A warm welcome to her, and we wish them both all the best on this new journey!
