The review highlights the “rare, vivid” sound world of 𝑰𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒐’𝒔 gut strings and winds, and notes that throughout the three concertos there is “a strong sense of collaboration” between 𝑶𝒍𝒈𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒌𝒐 and the ensemble.

𝑹𝒆𝒕𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒂 𝟑ᵉ 𝒆́𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒅𝒖 𝑭𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒍 𝑰𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝒂̀ 𝑻𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒓𝒆.

Pendant quatre jours, Tonnerre a accueilli un récital, de la musique de chambre, un duo et une masterclass, avec 𝑺𝒌𝒊𝒑 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒑𝒆́ comme invité spécial de cette édition.

De Byrd, Gibbons, Chambonnières et Louis Couperin à Bach, Couperin et Leclair, le festival a traversé plusieurs couleurs du répertoire baroque, dans une atmosphère d’écoute, de proximité et de partage.

The ultimate dream of Bach scholars, performers, and admirers? That Johann Sebastian Bach’s already vast catalogue of more than a thousand works might still grow with a few additional masterpieces! Such opportunities are rare, but every now and then a true gem is unearthed. Thus, Bach researcher, keyboard specialist, and conductor 𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝑮𝒓𝒚𝒄𝒉𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒌 succeeded in completing an unfinished Passion oratorio, turning it into a stage-ready jewel.

The work, composed for Good Friday 1725, has survived only in fragments through other compositions, while Picander’s text has also been preserved: free and evocative poetry that highlights the personal suffering of Jesus, thereby following a striking trend of the Bach era.

Le dimanche, la 3e édition du Festival 𝑰𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒐 à Tonnerre se terminera par un moment de transmission à la Galerie Prodromus. Les jeunes violoncellistes de la masterclass dirigée par 𝑰𝒓𝒂 𝑮𝒊𝒗𝒐𝒍 présenteront le fruit de leur travail dans un concert de restitution suivi d’un brunch.

We are delighted to share that album 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒉 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒑𝒏𝒆𝒓: 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒔 performed by 𝑰𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒐 and under the direction of 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌, was featured on Radio Klara.
The programme presents Graupner as a fascinating contemporary of Telemann and Bach, and highlights this new recording of his sinfonias, some of them recorded for the very first time.

A children’s opera about playing together and being alone, about wanting to join in, about light, music and the joy of discovering opera from the very beginning.

Fully tailored to children aged 3+, 𝑱𝑼𝑷𝑰 is a visual and musical spectacle for the little ones — and for everyone who still remembers how to look at the clouds carefully enough.

Throughout May, 𝑱𝑼𝑷𝑰 will be performed in several Belgian cultural centres, with both public and school performances.

With the new double album 𝑪𝒉𝒓𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑𝒉 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒖𝒑𝒏𝒆𝒓: 𝑺𝒊𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒔 & 𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒔, 𝑰𝒍 𝑮𝒂𝒓𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒐 and 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏 𝑯𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒌 bring renewed life to music by a composer who still deserves to be discovered by many more listeners.

Rich in colour, character and surprise, these works open a fascinating sound world between the late Baroque and the emerging Classical style. Some of them were recorded for the first time, making this release not only a performance, but also a rediscovery.
