Gaga classes are predicated on a deep activation of the body and physical sensations. We provide a framework for discovering and strengthening the body and adding flexibility, stamina, agility, and skills including coordination and efficiency while stimulating the senses and the imagination. Participants awaken numb areas, increase their awareness of habits, and improve their efficiency of movement inside multilayered tasks, and they are encouraged to connect to pleasure inside moments of effort.
The research of Gaga is in a continual process of evolution, and the classes vary and develop accordingly.
Chen-Wei Lee:
Chen-Wei Lee is a Belgium based Taiwanese artist. She is a freelance dancer, choreographer and Gaga teacher, and the holder of the 24th TECO Award for the art of dance.
She began her career as a dancer with Batsheva Dance Company in 2009-2014. As a guest dancer at GothenborgsOperas Danskompani and Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch, VOETVOLK in 2017-present, Peeping Tom in 2020 -2022, Baro d’Evel in 2023-present.
As a choreographer, She founded LEE\VAKULYA with Vakulya Zoltan as an artistic duo. They have been working together since 2016, making several stage works and museum/gallery format exhibitions. Their works received by the media with five starts, and won the Performing Arts Award from Taishin Arts Award in 2023.
60 euros per week (1 class per day) or 15 euros per class
