I came across some neath lookin' pictures made by Harold Edgerton somewhere in the 50's. He photographed atomic bombs at the very first moment of exploding, using a special camera made by Edgerton himself. The Rapatronic camera, was able to take photographs at a frame rate of 10 million frames per second. Which enabled it to capture the first milliseconds of the atomic explosion.
The images look otherworldly and quite bizarre.
Look them up on google, I'm sure you'll be suprised by their apperance!
⚠️The idea⚠️
One of the photo's caught my eye. I used this picture as an underlay and began drawing over it in photoshop. I started with shadows and highlights, and then added more detail to the object.
After that I kinda got carried away hahaha, that's when I started to come up with the "stone wall/ cave drawings vibe". The Alien type script, binary code and cave drawings were perfect for the feeling I wanted to create, that otherworldly feeling. Looking straight at, that what is running the simulation of our universe. God,.. one could say.
Such an profound sight to the eye, yet displayed on an ancient cave wall somewhen on earth. Prayed upon, by the first illustrated, prehistoric reflections of us.

It's been quite some time since my last post. I've been really busy the past half year. I worked toward my exams, graduated from my study at . So now it's finally time for some new art!! I'm working on a serie of artworks, all very different from the styles that I used before.

I'm not sure about the name of the serie yet, but I think it's gonna be called "Inside the mind".

In the upcoming months I'll try to work toward a post a day again, but it might take some time. One thing is for sure though.

This is the result of an 3D animation that I was purposely trying to f**k up in after effects. After adding a fair share of effects I started looking for the dopest looking single frames. [Slide 1 to the right to see the frame that I took from te video]
I continued, using a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator to to finally end up with this design.

Another variation on the "As time goes by - pt.7" animation. Lately I'm using after effects to look for cool ways to alter some of my 3D content.
