Vittoria Toscana (she/her) is an Italian visual artist and sculptor based in Brussels. Her work revolves around memory, identity and the interaction between individual and collective history. Trained in painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, she went on to complete a master's in sculpture at ENSAV La Cambre (Brussels) — with a thesis, written in collaboration with the ULB, devoted to the apocalypse. Currently in residence at SAFFCA, her work has been shown in independent and institutional spaces in Italy and Belgium. In 2021, she co-founded ComoContemporanea, an artist-run space in Como. Drawing on feminist, anthropological and ecological perspectives, she works through sculpture, drawing, sound, smells and performance.

Aleph is a sound ritual. A dancer — Claudia C. Fiore — moves through complete darkness, her body fitted with headlamps that activate photosensitive circuits suspended in space. Her movements generate the sound: Vittoria, at the mixer, manages the analogue frequencies the performer's body produces, shaping volume, silence and possibility in real time. Two mediums. A sign language in the dark.
Every edition of Aleph is site-specific. The analogue sound produced by the oscillators is never the same, and neither are the stages or the dramaturgy — they change with every space that hosts them. What you hear on 25 April at Studio Thor will not exist again.

⚠️ Lumières stroboscopiques et volume élevé.

Vittoria Toscana (elle/la) est une artiste plasticienne et sculptrice italienne basée à Bruxelles. Son travail s'articule autour de la mémoire, de l'identité et de l'interaction entre l'histoire individuelle et collective. Formée à la peinture à l'Académie des Beaux-Arts de Brera à Milan, elle obtient un master en sculpture à l'ENSAV La Cambre (Bruxelles) — avec un mémoire consacré à l'apocalypse, réalisé en collaboration avec l'ULB. Actuellement en résidence à la SAFFCA, son travail a été exposé en Italie et en Belgique dans des espaces indépendants et institutionnels. En 2021, elle co-fonde ComoContemporanea, un espace géré par des artistes à Côme. Nourrie de perspectives féministes, anthropologiques et écologiques, elle travaille à travers la sculpture, le dessin, le son, les odeurs et la performance.

Aleph est un rituel sonore. Une danseuse — Claudia C. Fiore — évolue dans une obscurité totale, son corps équipé de lampes frontales qui activent des circuits photosensibles suspendus dans l'espace. Ses mouvements génèrent le son : Vittoria, au mixeur, gère les fréquences analogiques que le corps de la performeuse produit, façonnant volumes, silences et possibilités en temps réel. Deux médiums. Un langage des signes dans l'obscurité.

Chaque édition d'Aleph est site-specific. Le son analogique produit par les oscillateurs n'est jamais le même, et ni les étapes ni la dramaturgie ne se répètent — tout varie avec chaque espace qui l'accueille. Ce que vous entendrez le 25 avril au Studio Thor n'existera plus jamais.

Unlike the other performances in the programme, Belle Echec is durational — it runs for the full six hours of the evening, visible through a display case in the Studio Thor window. You can pass by it at any point, watch it in fragments, or follow its progression across the night.

Yuna Choi (she/her) was born in South Korea in 1997 and arrived in Brussels in 2017. Currently studying for a master's in scenography at La Cambre, she builds her practice around self-imposed rules and scenic situations that oscillate between comedy and tragedy. She previously presented Sikgu at the Trouble festival (2025).

Belle Echec begins with a vintage dress, delicately displayed in a closed case. Yuna pulls the thread and begins to knit it again — from scratch, under a time constraint, for six hours. As the evening wears on, she gradually disappears under the pressure of the clock. When the final alarm sounds, she puts on whatever she has managed to make, cuts her connection to the first dress, and that's it.

Behind the gesture is a personal story: a deep sense of debt toward a father whose physical labour made her studies abroad possible, and the anxiety that turned art-making from pleasure into something heavier. The repetitive act — fragile and obstinate at once — holds all of that quietly. A beautiful failure, completed regardless.

Contrairement aux autres performances du programme, Belle Echec est durative — elle s'étire sur les six heures complètes de la soirée, visible depuis la vitrine du Studio Thor. On peut passer devant à n'importe quel moment, l'observer par fragments ou suivre sa progression tout au long de la nuit.

Yuna Choi (elle/la) est née en 1997 en Corée du Sud et est arrivée à Bruxelles en 2017. Actuellement en master 2 de Scénographie à La Cambre, elle construit sa pratique à partir de règles auto-imposées et de situations scéniques qui oscillent entre le comique et le tragique. Elle a présenté Sikgu au festival Trouble en 2025.

Belle Echec commence par une robe vintage délicatement exposée dans une vitrine fermée. Yuna en tire le fil et recommence à tricoter — de zéro, contre la montre, pendant six heures. Au fil de la soirée, elle disparaît peu à peu sous la pression du temps. Lorsque la dernière alarme sonne, elle enfile ce qu'elle a réussi à fabriquer, coupe le lien avec la première robe, et c'est tout.

Derrière le geste, une histoire personnelle : une dette profonde envers un père dont le travail physique a rendu ses études à l'étranger possibles, et l'anxiété qui a transformé le plaisir de faire en quelque chose de plus lourd. Le geste répétitif — fragile et obstiné à la fois — porte tout cela en silence. Un bel échec, accompli quoi qu'il arrive.

Émilie Masson (she/her) is an artist and second-year master's student at the Beaux-Arts in Tournai (AC'T). Her practice is rooted in family history, childhood and the traditions that have shaped her. Drawing, performance and the body are at its core — used to question memory, transmission, and the place one occupies or is denied.

Ce qui m'était refusé draws on the folklore of the Ducasse d'Ath — a centuries-old Belgian procession and UNESCO Intangible Heritage tradition that was passed down exclusively from father to son, with no place for women.

The performance opens indoors in an intimate space, where Émilie draws a charcoal portrait of her father on the floor. Once the drawing is complete, the body takes over: she tramples, strikes, tears, wraps the paper around herself, carried along by L'Hymne des femmes. She then steps into the public space carrying a giant she has built herself from a childhood drawing. The performance continues as a walk through the street and concludes with a dance with the giant.

Drawing, body and movement become tools of transformation — reclaiming a legacy that was never intended for her, and claiming her place in the public sphere.

Émilie Masson (elle/la) est artiste et étudiante en deuxième master aux Beaux-Arts de Tournai (AC'T). Sa pratique s'ancre dans son histoire familiale, l'enfance et les traditions qui l'ont construite. Le dessin, la performance et le corps en sont le cœur — pour interroger la mémoire, la transmission et la place que l'on occupe ou qu'on nous refuse.
Ce qui m'était refusé prend appui sur le folklore de la ducasse d'Ath — une procession belge plusieurs fois centenaire et Patrimoine immatériel de l'UNESCO, transmise exclusivement de père en fils, sans place pour les femmes.

La performance débute à l'intérieur, dans un espace intime, où Émilie réalise au sol un dessin au fusain représentant son père. Une fois le dessin terminé, le corps entre en action : elle piétine, frappe, déchire, s'enroule dans le papier, portée par L'Hymne des femmes. Elle rejoint ensuite l'espace public avec un géant fabriqué par ses soins à partir d'un dessin d'enfance. La performance se poursuit en déambulation dans la rue et se conclut par une danse avec le géant.

Le dessin, le corps et le mouvement deviennent des outils de transformation — pour s'approprier un héritage qui ne lui était pas destiné, et affirmer une prise de place dans l'espace public.

Maël Keppenne (he/him) is a q***r artist and author born in Brussels. His work questions the construction of erotic imaginaries and the way language shapes our bodily experiences. A final-year student in Creative Writing at La Cambre — where he is also writing his novel — he presented Corps calibré Corps désiré at the Trouble festival in 2025 and co-created the DJ show L'Amour dans le même bermuda the same year. He is currently developing a new video, text and sound performance around mainstream pornographic images.

ARDOR transforms the act of writing into a collective experience where intimacy is exposed and constructed in real time. The performer stands facing the audience while words typed on a computer appear projected behind him — the only mode of communication. No voice: language circulates through light, screen and gaze, creating a tension between physical presence and displaced speech.

As the performance unfolds, the writing gradually moves into erotic territory. The text addresses the audience directly — designating, imagining, constructing scenes of desire. The audience is invited to read, to desire, and to be read.

Maël Keppenne (il/lui) est un artiste et auteur q***r né à Bruxelles. Son travail interroge la fabrique des imaginaires érotiques et la manière dont le langage façonne nos expériences corporelles. Étudiant en dernière année de Création littéraire à La Cambre — où il écrit également son roman — il a présenté Corps calibré Corps désiré au festival Trouble en 2025 et a cocréé le DJ-spectacle L'Amour dans le même bermuda la même année. Il travaille actuellement à une nouvelle performance vidéo, texte et son autour d'images pornographiques mainstream.

ARDOR transforme l'acte d'écrire en expérience collective où l'intime s'expose et se construit en temps réel. Le performeur se tient face au public tandis que les mots tapés sur l'ordinateur apparaissent projetés derrière lui — unique mode de communication. Pas de voix : le langage circule à travers la lumière, l'écran et le regard, créant une tension entre présence physique et parole déplacée.

Au fil de la performance, l'écriture glisse progressivement vers une zone érotique. Le texte s'adresse directement à la salle — désignant, imaginant, construisant des scènes de désir. Le public est invité à lire, à désirer, à être lu·e.

Pierre Gosée (he/him) is a visual artist and designer based in Belgium whose work sits at the intersection of performance, installation and design. Trained with a master's in Image in the Environment from ARTS² and a bachelor's in Applied Art from the Haute École Condorcet, he subverts the codes of communication and technological demonstration to question our relationship with progress. He is currently building the Kayou Group universe — a group of fictional companies that serve as a narrative framework for projects combining design, satire and fiction. More at www.kayou.be

Kayou Neural Control takes the shape of a tech presentation: polished, credible, slightly strange. Between professional confidence and quiet unease, the performer plays with the conventions of demonstration, proof and efficiency to plant a discreet doubt about what is really changing before our eyes. The piece builds tension between the promise of improvement and a creeping normalisation of gestures and attitudes — and leaves a simple but persistent question open: how far are we willing to adjust our behaviour to match the image expected of us?

Plume Ducret (she/he/they) is a performance artist who grew up on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel in Switzerland. They work across disciplines, keeping the body at the centre — and the social pressures that shape it. With a bachelor's in visual arts from HEAD and a master's in choreography from INSAS, their path weaves between vocal sound work and the embodiment of strange, searching figures. In each piece, they hope to offer audiences something real: relief, empowerment, and hope.

Les Lacustres takes a very large sheet of paper as its starting point — a surface that comes to represent the regions held close by the two performers. Through twisting, tearing, folding, drawing and poetry, the duo traces a bittersweet moment in which their bodies bear witness to cultures they have grown away from, sometimes only slightly. Oscillating between joy and mourning, the piece draws its strength from vulnerability and absurd humour, and trusts in the quiet power of simple gestures.

Plume Ducret (elle, il, iel) est un·e artiste de performance qui a grandi au bord du lac de Neuchâtel en Suisse. Iel travaille en croisant les disciplines, avec comme focus le corps et les pressions sociales qui le façonnent. Un bachelier en arts visuels à la HEAD puis un master en chorégraphie à l'INSAS forment une partie de son parcours éclectique, entre voix bruitées et incarnation de figures étranges. Dans ses pièces, iel espère apporter aux spectateur·ices du soulagement, de l'émancipation et de l'espoir.

Les Lacustres part d'une très grande feuille de papier — une surface qui vient représenter les régions chères au cœur des deux performeur·euses. Entre torsions, déchirements, pliage, dessin et poèmes, le duo fait vivre un moment doux-amer où leurs corps témoignent de cultures dont iels se sont éloigné·es, parfois juste un peu. Oscillant entre joie et deuil, la pièce puise sa force dans la vulnérabilité et l'humour absurde, et fait confiance à la magie de la simplicité.

Based in Brussels, Garance Debert (she/her) brings together performance, mime, dance, video and curation. Trained in classical and contemporary dance, she went on to complete a master's in visual arts specialising in performance at the École de Recherche Graphique (ERG) in Brussels, with great distinction. Her work explores the body as an anti-nostalgic archival landscape, subverting the codes of mime to question the emergence and disappearance of shared imaginaries. She has shown work at Wiels, Kiosk Gent, Le Grand Café Saint-Nazaire and others, and has been running the curatorial project L'Opéra Discret since 2022.

Figurative Furniture grew out of performances in which Garance systematically embodied a table — whether a magician's turntable or a mobile buffet at a vernissage. From that objectifying posture, she wanted to give voice and movement to a whole alphabet of household objects: a chair that moves, a shelf that runs out of breath, a book that reveals itself, a fork that looks at itself from behind a spoon. Monologues made of wood, screws, nails, gestures, hands and stories.

By adapting the question of the body's memory to that of the object, she seeks to disorient the gaze — humanising objects to reveal their emotions, interpreting objects to de-objectify the body. A one-object show that is absurd, precise, and quietly moving.

Basée à Bruxelles, Garance Debert (elle/la) articule performance, mime, danse, vidéo et curation. Formée en danse classique et contemporaine, elle obtient un master en arts visuels spécialisé en performance avec grande distinction à l'École de Recherche Graphique (ERG) à Bruxelles. Son travail explore le corps comme une surface d'archives antinostalgique, détournant les codes du mime pour interroger l'émergence et la disparition d'imaginaires partagés. Elle a présenté son travail à Wiels, Kiosk Gent, Le Grand Café Saint-Nazaire et d'autres lieux, et porte depuis 2022 le projet curatorial L'Opéra Discret.

Figurative Furniture naît de performances où Garance incarnait systématiquement une table — table tournante de prestidigitation ou buffet de vernissage ambulant. Face à cette posture qui objectivait son corps, elle a voulu donner voix et mouvement à tout un abécédaire d'objets domestiques : une chaise qui s'émeut, une étagère qui s'essouffle, un livre qui se livre, une fourchette qui se regarde par le dos de la cuillère. Des monologues faits de bois, de vis, de clous, de gestes, de mains et d'histoires.
En adaptant la question de la mémoire du corps à celle de l'objet, elle cherche à désorienter le regard — humaniser des objets pour en faire apparaître les affects, interpréter des objets pour désobjectifier le corps. Un one-object-show absurde, précis et discrètement émouvant.
