Vocal Ease is an international female choir formed in Brussels in 2010. The choir has given concerts in Belgium, Germany, Great Britain and Poland.

Vocal Ease is an international female choir formed in Brussels in 2010 by a group of experienced choral singers and the choral director, Marta Jakubiec. Vocal Ease is a high level amateur ensemble cooperating with professional instrumentalists. The group also organises projects for mixed choirs, which also involve male singers.

Join us for our next concert on Sunday, 26 April 2026 at 17:30 at Église Sainte-Anne, Chaussée de Tervueren 89, 1160 Auderghem (Brussels).

Choir Vocal Ease and .ensemble invite you to a concert featuring Giovanni Battista Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater as the main work. This is one of the most moving pieces of Baroque music. The young composer, who lived only 26 years, created it shortly before his death, and his music is full of emotion and beautiful melodies. It is a work capable of touching even those who do not normally listen to classical music.

In addition, the Iris Ensemble will perform Concerto Grosso No. 3 by the Italian Baroque violinist and composer Francesco Geminiani. This piece is full of contrasts: at times delicate and lyrical, and at others vibrant and virtuosic.
The programme will be completed by a sacred work for the choir a ca****la, Velitchayem Vas, by the Macedonian composer Todor Skalovski. Although a 20th-century composition, its character blends wonderfully with the other works.

The choir Vocal Ease warmly invites you to our upcoming concert, “Musical Meetings”.

Date: Saturday, 7 February 2026 at 17.30
Venue: St Anne’s Church, Chaussée de Tervueren 89, 1160 Auderghem

Together with percussionist Adrien Fortemps, we will present a rich and varied programme for choir and percussion. The concert will take you on a musical journey through time: from the Renaissance, with madrigals accompanied by drum and sacred motets by Orlando di Lasso, through Ave Maria by Bach–Gounod in an original arrangement for solo soprano and marimba, to the 20th century, featuring true gems of the women’s choral repertoire such as Ave Maria by Zoltán Kodály.

Percussion instruments like the marimba and vibraphone are rarely heard live in concert. During the evening, Adrien will introduce these instruments, demonstrate their playing techniques, and showcase the richness of their sound.

Vocal Ease had the pleasure to sing works of Händel with our tenor & bass friends and La Penserosa historical music consort. 🎶

The concert featured majestic choral pieces, melodic soloists and masterful sinfonia. Bravo to all 💐 and thanks to all who came and support us!
