Established in 1935, Brussels Philharmonic is a major Belgian symphony orchestra based in Brussels. “The world needs symphonic music.

That is the firm belief of the Brussels Philharmonic. As a symphony orchestra founded in 1935 under the auspices of the Belgian public broadcaster, unveiling the symphonic world as best we can is deep in our DNA. Welcome Masa and Steven! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce our new management duo: Masa Spaan (Artistic Director) and Steven Cosyns (Managing Director), taking the helm this June!

As a new era begins, we owe immense gratitude to Gunther Broucke, who is entrusting the wheel after 25 years of building our orchestra and choir, and charting the unique, ambitious path we stand on today.
