☀️ A summer for the history books: the Symphony Orchestra of La Monnaie made its debut at the prestigious Salzburger Festspiele | Salzburg Festival! Under the baton of Alain Altinoglu, the orchestra performed two concert performances of Massenet’s ‘Werther’. 🎶

❤️ With thanks to all the players of Nationale Loterij / Loterie Nationale, whose support made this extraordinary experience possible. 🙏

Sasha Waltz & Guests bring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 to life on La Monnaie’s stage. Wagner famously called it “the apotheosis of dance” — and Waltz takes the score as the starting point for a new work performed by 14 dancers. To be experienced from September 3 to 6 in Brussels.
