Lassenne Vocale is a Brussels-based chamber choir that was founded mainly by instrumentalists from the Brussels Royal Conservatories. With its name referring to the underground river flowing through the city center, Lassenne vocale has chosen to promote the interest of choral music in Brussels by offering different kinds of repertoires from Renaissance to modern. Together with Swara Vocal Ensemble, Lassenne Vocale took part at the premier of “Messe Solennelle”, composed by Xavier Deprez, at the event “Messe des artistes”, organized by ARS in Cathedrali in 2019. Later on the same year, Lassenne Vocale collaborated with Familia Cantoum (Letohrad) and Piccolo Coro (Prague) in performing a concert tour in Czech Republic. In 2021, Lassenne Vocale participated in a project called “Cathedralis” by Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of David Navarro Turres, performing pieces for choir and orchestra and some modern a ca****la works.

Ten years ago, began with a simple ambition: to explore the richness of choral music with curiosity, creativity, and a spirit of collaboration.

Time flies! Looking back on our journey, we feel heartful 💗

This concert launches our 10th anniversary season, not by looking back, but by celebrating the music that continues to inspire us and the artistic path still unfolding ahead.

Therefore, we sing forward! 🤟

Join us on December 12th at Chapelle du Sacré-Cœur de Lindthout,
Avenue des Deux Tilleuls 2A. 1210 Woluwe-St-Lambert, Brussels, at 8pm.

Still carrying the emotions of Friday night. 🤍

It was such a privilege for Lassenne Vocale to share the stage with Vlaams Radiokoor and Ensemble vocal Kaïros, and to perform under the direction of Eric Whitacre.

A very special thank you to Eric for your incredible enthusiasm, generosity and professionalism. From the rehearsals to the final notes on stage, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you.

Thank you to everyone who shared this beautiful and unforgettable evening with us. ✨

Ten years of voices.
Ten years of music, friendships, challenges, adventures and unforgettable moments.

For our 10th anniversary, Lassenne Vocale is celebrating with a very special 2026–27 concert season built around four words that tell our story:

LOOKING BACK, SINGING FORWARD 🎶

We’ll look back at the music and memories that shaped us, reunite with people who have been part of our journey, explore something new, and above all, celebrate 10 years of singing together.

This season is more than an anniversary. It’s a celebration of everyone who has sung with us, listened to us, supported us and shared the journey with us.
