Opening Sunday 28 June at Hopstreet Gallery Deurle.

We happy to invite you to the group exhibition
‘A Landscape of Materials’ with works by Mona Ardeleanu, Sara Bjarland, Thorsten Brinkmann, Sarah Pillen, Dominique De Beir, Berend Strik, Jan van Munster, Tinus Vermeersch and Susanne Wellm.

You will be welcomed by a sculpture by guest artist Philippe Desloubières, partner of Dominique De Beir.

The exhibition runs from 28.06 - 19.97 / 07.08 - 23.08.2026. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11:00-17:00.

Tinus Vermeersch at Museum Torhouts Aardewerk, kasteel Ravenhof, Torhout till 16 August.

Fascinated by folk pottery, Vermeersch immersed himself in the tradition of so-called Poterie Flamande and the decorative techniques of Torhout pottery. The result is a series of pots and decorative pieces in which the ‘rustic chic’ that characterises this style blends with Vermeersch’s own visual language.

Painting becomes a place of holding presence. Forms emerge, but they do not belong to me. They appear, hold for a moment, then dissolve back into the field from which they came. Moving between figuration and abstraction, a
kind of quiet alchemy takes place.
The work moves through layers—covering, revealing, withholding. Each surface holds a fragile memory of what lies beneath. What is visible is only a fraction.
