▷ Born from the spirit of the BRDCST festival— AB’s annual discovery festival —we introduce BRDCST concerts. In doing so, we carry the festival’s adventurous spirit forward throughout the year.

▷ BRDCST celebrates music from the margins. You won’t find off-the-peg hits or formulaic certainties here, but music that grates, surprises and stays with you. Across genres and concert formats, BRDCST makes a radical choice for discovery.

Hitting hard at BRDCST: Chaos of Lord Spikeheart w/ NMR.CC—blending Kenyan hardcore, black metal textures, and noise-drenched hip-hop into a mind-blowing audiovisual assault—and the crushing, immersive weight of Sumac’s post-metal mastery… BRDCST let’s go.

BRDCST was honoured to make its debut at the Vanhaerents Art Collection—a vast industrial warehouse transformed into an art sanctuary in the heart of Brussels. Usually off-limits to the public, the space houses an extraordinary contemporary collection born from Walter Vanhaerents’ lifelong passion for the avant-garde.

We embarked on a sonic journey that moved from Timothy Archambault’s BXLACCRETION—a blend of Native American Algonquin flute and avant-garde folk—to the dark, gothic-infused Ashes by Golem Mecanique. The experience was rounded out by the whisper-quiet, deeply emotive ambient compositions of claire rousay’s a little death.

DAY 2 at BRDCST featured the ever-shifting sonic identity of Antwerp’s own Youniss. At AB Salon, Ultan O’Brien and Sam Comerford blended the rugged traditions of County Clare with a fearless, improvisational search for new textures. We’re ready for more, see you in a bit at BRDCST!

With around 50 names on the line-up and three brand-new venues, the BRDCST 2026 program looks quite overwhelming. This was BRDCST day 1 through the eyes of photographer Daria Miasoedova.

To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Ideologic Organ label, BRDCST is proud to host a special curation by the legendary Stephen O’Malley. Join us today at the stunning
Vanhaerents Art Collection for a deep dive into the world of avant-garde drone and contemporary composition. Don’t miss the exhibition of Ideologic Organ artwork blow-ups at AB VITRINE (Steenstraat 23–27) throughout the festival!

And so we moved steadily towards the end of BRDCST day 1 with through to the ‘organic, psychedelic dance’ ritual of Fauna (the revelation of BRDCST 2026?). Curator Keeley Forsyth’s own expanded ‘Hand To Mouth’ show, where the spoken word of French author Jean-Baptiste Del Amo met the stark intimacy of voice and keys. Pure, genre-fluid high-mass for the musical adventurer. See you at BRDCST Day 2! ❤️, still some tickets on sale!
