I explore how the fusion of touch-based rituals and art can be used for psychological transformation. Touch-based practices tap into subtle layers of s*xual energy through exercises with touch. Its goals are: raising awareness of the importance of touch and consent, connecting with your own body and communicating a broader interpretation of intimacy. In my artistic practice, I combine contemporary

themes such as s*x positivity, body diversity, multiculturalism and gender with spiritual symbolism based on Ta**ra, Tao and Buddhism. I use installation, photography, VR, video and performance. I am active in the art world and in the healthcare sector. On one hand, I do touch-based rituals with installation in exhibitions and galleries. On the other hand, I have my own practice with a space decorated with my art for weekly touch-based group sessions.

Excited to share a collaboration close to my heart.
I’m working with Sanne De Wilde on a part of her exhibition project The Trilogy of Togetherness, that will be shown in preview at Hangar (Brussels).

I posed for this chapter, and I’m also collaborating in the process itself by guiding couples through the photoshoots, using touch-based exercises to support embodied presence, intimacy and attunement while talking about their story of migration, displacement and systemic pressure.

This participatory performance invites the audience to explore the sensory power of touch and fashion through interactive exercises. Five performers, dressed in specially designed costumes featuring diverse textures, guide participants on a journey of tactile discovery. Blindfolded, participants first explore the unique fabrics, then their own bodies, and finally the hands of the performer in front of them.
