Each year, Melomania organizes an ambitious symphonic project during the first week of July, conducted by Guy Van Waas. These sessions are attended mostly by conservatory students and professionnals who share the same love for orchestral music.

Beautiful music in a beautiful surrounding🎵

Our concert of the 4th may happened in time to capture the beautiful light illuminating our cello and double bass sections 🤩

Nothing like that dress rehearsal feeling 🎵

Our conductor Aurian Baudhuin was running through the last checks and off we went for an awesome concert lead by our amazing concertmaster .paques 🤩
The double concerto is notoriously difficult piece and requires great contact between the concert master, the soloists, the conductor and the other sections leaders. Not only did Margo flawlessly lead her section, she managed to coordinate all the string to perfectly time difficult entries. Her professionalism and talent were extremely appreciated !

Our program consists of the double concerto of Brahms with at the cello and at the violin, as well as the 4th symphony of Schumann !
