It was quiet emotional for us to bring back Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys to the Atomium Brussels. As some of you may or may not know. My mom Aurore and dad Patrick travelled in 1991 in the USA to shop for their vintage store Fever . One night they met Big Sandy and his bandmates,at a club and my dad jumped on stage and sang a song with them, the friendship started and the idea emerged to bring them over to Europe. Six months later, in September 91 the whole pack arrived in Brussels and play gigs in Bxl, Charleroi, France and Switzerland. It was their first time playing in Europe and my mom Aurore and Jack Fire were driving the van.
They even visited the Atomium.
Some great memories to share with the international rock'n'roll family!
