Bòsc - Traditional /Alternative/ Experimental
Bòsc grew out of an encounter around a land and its borders, its language, its songs, its temperaments and distinctive rhythms. It is a concert that embraces the unhurried pace of an evening gathering, listening closely to the stories carried by timbres and unadorned voices, to the singular power of laments and songs of mourning, somewhere between music and silence. At times, it is also about mass, vibration, and the drone felt deep in the belly and danced through the body.
Rooted in a shared grounding in traditional music, the five musicians of Bòsc offer their own interpretations of songs from the southern Massif Central (Quercy, Rouergue and Cantal), bringing them into dialogue with practices specific to each performer, drawn from contemporary, experimental and Baroque music, as well as storytelling.
Bourrasque - Traditional / Modal / Contemporary
This duo weaves together timbres, strings and languages like lines across a landscape, connecting repertoires gathered between Quercy and the Massif Central. In a sound world shaped by modality, fife, banjo, violin and voices bring fragments of these traditional tunes bursting to life, driven by the rhythm of feet striking the ground.
Lutèce Lockness - Folk / Alternative / Baroque
Nestled among medieval illuminations as much as in the cockpit of a spaceship, Lutèce Lockness travels through time with the Châ. She creates worlds where dreamlike visions and satire intertwine, embracing the bizarre, the strange and the intimate.
Her debut album, Le Châ, unfolds as a shapeshifting epic, blending psychedelic sounds, medieval timbres, digital textures and hovering drones. Her voice guides us through this incantatory universe, enriched by collaborations with Jean Rondeau, Maxime Denuc and Christoph Fink.
