The third edition of Brussels Jewellery Week, initially planned for 2026, will unfortunately not take place as scheduled.

Due to the current economic and political situation in Brussels - including the absence of a government for nearly two years following the last elections - the cultural sector is facing significant challenges. This climate makes it impossible for us to deliver the high-quality, creative event that Brussels Jewellery Week stands for.
We are therefore focusing our efforts on a 2027 edition, with the clear ambition of preserving the artistic excellence and strong identity that define our event. We are also mindful that the current global political and economic climate places our own expectations into perspective, reminding us to remain measured in our concerns.

In the meantime, we have redesigned our website, www.brusselsjewelleryweek.com. It now brings together an extensive selection of photographs, articles, presentations, as well as previously unreleased videos and interviews from the first two editions. Our warmest thanks go to Céline de Valeriola .jewels for her invaluable and unforgettable contribution to this project.

We sincerely thank you for your continued support and invite you to keep following us for future updates and announcements.

Antal Zilahi @ Romanian Jewelry Week 2025

The association Les Brucelles, organizer of Brussels Jewellery Week, is very proud to announce artist Antal Zilahi has been invited as guest of honour to the next Brussels Jewellery Week.

We congratulate Antal Zilahi for the research about perfection into imperfection, at the heart of his work:

“Is there perfection without imperfection? Antal Zilahi’s brooches challenge perfectionism by integrating the 180-year-old tradition of mirror-making into contemporary jewelry design.
Do we allow space for our mistakes and give time for self-reflection? Recognizing and understanding imperfection can open up countless new paths.
He intentionally made errors in the mirror-making process, causing them to reflect only a part of the world or even completely absorb it. With these unique silver mirror surfaces, he aims to trigger an inner dialogue about the quality and depth of our observations.
Antal’s objects let viewers glimpse a corner of the body and surroundings, fostering a more relaxed, intimate relationship between the trinity of object, person, and view.”
Les Brucelles are pleased to welcome Antal Zilahi as featured artist for the next edition of Brussels Jewellery Week, following this award during Romanian Jewelry Week 2025.

Masculinity is a mask that shapes how male-read people deal with emotion

Julian Graeve is a jewellery designer exploring contemporary adornment. Based in Pforzheim, Germany’s historic jewellery centre, he is pursuing a Master of Arts in Jewellery at Hochschule Pforzheim. His studies also include the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and a BA in Product Design from Hochschule für Gestaltung, Schwäbisch Gmünd.

His Mask series, carved from 200-years-old maple wood with silver and silver-plated nickel silver, investigates identity and masculinity.
Cold Mask reflects the societal masks shaped by gender role.
Soft Mask, with added cotton, addresses emotions and communication, questioning stereotypes.
Broken Mask disrupts symmetry, evoking both harsh and tender forms that reveal or conceal vulnerability.

Les Brucelles are pleased to welcome Julian Graeve as featured artist for the next edition of Brussels Jewellery Week, following this award during Venice Design Week 2025 “I don’t shine, I have something to say”, curated by Eleonora Varotto

Les Brucelles is thrilled to announce the upcoming expo “It’s a Glow Thing!”. A vibrant mix of jewellery artists with practices that range from smithing virtuosos to unexpected materials and interdisciplinary approaches. Expect a vibrant cross-section of the Belgian scene.

LOOKING FOR COMPOSITION is a collection of brooches - a translation of Lien’s living environment, of what she sees and how she experiences it. Living in a busy city, she discovers, amidst the many buildings, traffic, and construction sites, a collection of compositions: planes, lines, shapes, volumes, patterns, overlaps, voids, structures, colors, and movements. These are constantly changing. Transience - what was there yesterday is gone today.
