With her brooches named “The Absence”, Marta offers a subtle and poetic reflection on missing a beloved one, to be worn close to the heart.
She captures the emotional traces people leave behind in her contemporary jewels.
By using 3D technology, Marta is offering more perspectives for the use of nowadays techniques, making it effective as well as meaningful.

The third edition of Brussels Jewellery Week, initially planned for 2026, will unfortunately not take place as scheduled.

Due to the current economic and political situation in Brussels - including the absence of a government for nearly two years following the last elections - the cultural sector is facing significant challenges. This climate makes it impossible for us to deliver the high-quality, creative event that Brussels Jewellery Week stands for.
We are therefore focusing our efforts on a 2027 edition, with the clear ambition of preserving the artistic excellence and strong identity that define our event. We are also mindful that the current global political and economic climate places our own expectations into perspective, reminding us to remain measured in our concerns.

In the meantime, we have redesigned our website, www.brusselsjewelleryweek.com. It now brings together an extensive selection of photographs, articles, presentations, as well as previously unreleased videos and interviews from the first two editions. Our warmest thanks go to Céline de Valeriola .jewels for her invaluable and unforgettable contribution to this project.

We sincerely thank you for your continued support and invite you to keep following us for future updates and announcements.
