“ is known as an artist for far-fetched work with far-fetched stories. For a continuity of the circulation of tales in untraditional ways, reimagined by illogical materials. Bosmans stays in storyteller mode in Fondation CAB, but shows himself eager to overturn surface readings and uncover a driving unease, not to say pain. The nesting of plots and biological bits in the artist’s symbolic and schematic style can increasingly be understood as a processing device for a larger underlying narrative, perhaps even a philosophy.
His exhibition is open until March 15, Wednesday to Saturday, 12 to 6pm”

Wim Delvoye was able to establish himself as one of the most controversial artists of his time with a number of scatological works, including the infamous “Cloaca” (2000). The artist’s model which he employed to do so, is that of the ‘super’-artist: the businessman-entrepreneur that remains firmly in control. These artists are distinguished by their unique ability to react to contemporary political, economic, and cultural paradigms, particularly those that underpin the art world and the art market. At the same time, they rapidly refute stale claims about the creative process and the artwork in their multimedia work. Delvoye promotes himself as an autodidact, his art is often a combination of craftsmanship and the most sophisticated industrial manufacturing techniques.

Edith Dekyndt works across video, sculpture, installation, drawing and sound to address timeless concerns of light, time and space in the most subtle ways. Throughout her work, she manifests a profound interest in physical phenomenons and ephemeral incidents by paying close attention to materials and their transient nature. She transforms her sensual perceptions to create a conceptually rich and materially engaged visual language.
