Artcast4D: Unleashing creativity! Artcast4D: Unleashing Creativity! But, they’re neither readily available nor broadly accessible.

Advances in immersive technology are an important driver of the experience economy, enhancing visiting experiences at cultural institutions. The objective of the Artcast4D project is to develop an accessible open-source program on the basis of the proven AAASeed real-time 2D/3Dsoftware. This will unleash the potential of European Union Cultural and Creative Industries for designing and developing

cost-effective, non-invasive, immersive and interactive user experiences. Artcast4D relies on theoretical and experimental research, open sourcesoftware associated with innovative interactive display solutions,together with case studies and on-site beta testing. The project’s innovation lies in its ability to create immersive environments in open spaces, with minimally intrusive projection technology, through the design of interactive applications with crowd movement and sensing capabilities, based on available open source solutions. Artcast4D will promote the technology outside cultural institutions, implementing 4 pilots in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Hounslow, Valencia and Athens, each with different artistic topics and experiences, bringing together creative actors and industrial partners with the civil society. All pilots will include training workshops, and open training modules designed for developers and artists. These projects will also help to derive policy guidelines on how to strengthen competitiveness and innovation. ✨ We presented the results of our research carried out in T1.1 on Triggering Immersion in Public Spaces at the 22nd EuroXR International Conference in Winterthur, Switzerland.

It was an inspiring event, bringing together researchers and professionals from the global XR community to showcase a wide range of innovative applications of immersive technology.

Es un ensayo escénico que explora la inevitable transformación del cuerpo en obra de arte a través de la auto-representación, la auto-curaduría y la exposición permanente en un entorno saturado de datos.

“Este ensayo parte de una insistencia: imaginarme en el centro de un espacio. No para afirmarme, sino para dudar; para exponerme como se expone una imagen; para entender cómo, en este presente, el cuerpo que baila se convierte en dato, en tendencia o en archivo”.
