As we ring in another new year, I’m reflecting on a year with many changes.  After many personal challenges in my family, recovering from breast cancer, supporting my daughter through PNES — this year became about slowly finding my feet again and reconnecting with my energy. But also beautiful moments turning into memories such as celebrating 50 years on this planet surrounded by family and friends.
 My studio as always my refuge, my therapy, and my way to stay grounded. Creating with my hands helped me process, heal, and remember the quiet strength that lives in making.
Teaching brought moments of light — the warmth and positivity of my students -many of whom have become friends- reminded me why I love sharing my art — but above all, this year was about returning to my own voice as an artist.
Ending the year with a successful exhibition felt like the perfect cherry on top. A moment of celebration, closure, and proof that even -or mostly?!-in the hardest seasons, beautiful things can be made.
Thank you so much for being here and supporting me and my work, truly 🫶🏽
