SUMMERSCHOOL 29 June – 4 July 2026

Filter Café Filtré Atelier and Zinneke kick off this year’s summerstreets with the 5th edition of our Openstreets Summerschool: Viva Colignon

We’re looking for (student) architects, designers, makers and curious minds to join a one-week urban lab on the main square of Schaerbeek.

This year, we are branching out of the Maritime neighborhood and into Schaerbeek. We are bringing the iconic Place Colignon to life with one large micro-intervention. Rooted in a co-created masterplan developed directly with local children, it is designed to transform temporarily a part of the square into a vibrant hub for living, playing, and sharing. A true meeting point for the entire community. You'll spend 7 days designing, building, and experimenting, guided by architects, makers and local initiatives.

A fully equipped wood & metal workshop will be set up with Zinneke

Al lang vragen de ouders van Sint-Joris Nieuwland een schoolstraat voor de school. Vandaag maakten ze hun droom zichtbaar met activiteiten en een maquette van hun voorstel voor een veilige, kindvriendelijke straat voor de school. 💛

NL – Jokerweek 2026: ENSEMBLE

De finale van de Jokerweek Universiteit Gent. Na een gezamenlijke brunch werd de laatste hand gelegd aan de tentoonstelling en de scenografie. Deblock (schepen van sociale huisvesting gemeente Molenbeek - PVDA), Lotte Stoops (parlementslid - GROEN), Vandenborre (parlementslid NV-A) en Charlotte Kokken (kabinetsmedewerker van staatssecretaris Ans Persoons VOORUIT ) bezochten de tentoonstelling en kruisten, aangejaagd door de studenten en gemodereerd door Kris Hendrickx de degens. De week eindigde in schoonheid met een afsluitingsdrink.
Dank aan het jokerteam: Eef Boeckx, Lisa Janssens, Kris Coremans, Bram Vandemoortele Dank aan de thematisch co-curatoren Johan Lagae, Peter Vandenabbeele, Lionel Devlieger, Wim Boydens, Anne Kockelkorn.
Dank aan de administratieve hulp: Dilara en Jakob.
En uiteraard een zeer grote shout-out naar de studenten Julie Verschuere, Linde Rogiers, Sander Reyniers, Reinhart Beeckman en de geëngageerde 2de master studenten.
FR - Jokerweek 2026 : ENSEMBLE

La finale de la Jokerweek. Après un brunch collectif, les dernières retouches ont été apportées à l’exposition et à la scénographie. Dirk Deblock (échevin du logement social à la commune de Molenbeek – PVDA), Lotte Stoops (députée – GROEN), Matthias Vandenborre (député – N-VA) et Charlotte Kokken (collaboratrice au cabinet de la secrétaire d’État Ans Persoons – VOORUIT) ont visité l’exposition et ont débatus, stimulés par les étudiant·es. La semaine s’est clôturée en beauté avec un verre de clôture.

Merci à l’équipe Joker : Eef Boeckx, Lisa Janssens, Kris Coremans, Bram Vandemoortele. Merci aux co-curateurs thématiques Johan Lagae, Peter Vandenabbeele, Lionel Devlieger, Wim Boydens, Anne Kockelkorn.
