Final Finissage on Sunday 31 May from 15:00 until 18:00h. We’ll cut straight to the point: the gallery will close indefinitely at the end of this current exhibition ‘Dreamtime: so near and yet so far’ by Marc Schepers.
After twelve intense and meaningful years, we have decided to close the gallery. This was not a decision taken lightly. For a long time, we tried to hold on to our way of working: creating space for artists with a distinct voice, for work that was not always obvious or comfortable, and for encounters that went beyond purely the commercial aspect.
But the reality is that it has become particularly difficult to sustain a place with our convictions — both financially and mentally.
What remains are twelve years filled with trust, conversations, risks, friendships, beauty, and shared conviction. For that, we are deeply grateful and we will always cherish who carried, visited, supported, and helped shape the gallery throughout the years.
