love is BIGGER than we think it is!!!
•
For the last five months—God has been challenging me about the depth to the word: love. I realize it’s a lot easier carrying my own definition of what love should look like, behave and play out in action.
•
1 Cor 13 & Galatians 5:22-23 have been challenging me for months. Love is actually pretty simple in definition. But the way it works out through the fruit of the spirit is deep transformative work.
•
In the end, my final thoughts are pretty simple. God is love. He loves me, I receive. Then I overflow and love others through that. It’s simple but also hard to work out. Only through Jesus is it accomplished!! There’s no better place to be than in the overflow of Gods love. So today—-i encourage you to make space even five mins for God to overflow thru His love in your life.

I am posting my first video of 2022. I honestly have wrestled whether to continue youtube in 2022 but I found peace in moving forward and doing so!

In honor of my screen being fixed yesterday I thought I’d post. 😂

A phrase I’ve been telling my friends that is on my heart is “return to our first love”.
•
The fire of God is birthed in the secret place of knowing Him. Once we know Him, the natural response is to love Him. The love of God ignites something in our hearts where we can’t go back to the old way of living.
•
Return to the simplicity of reading the Bible just to know Jesus better. To worshiping just because we love Him. When we’re real with God everything becomes simpler.
•
It’s okay if everything doesn’t make sense. It’s okay if you have questions, ask them. Let it real. True authenticity is in Christ.

I’ve learned that love is much deeper, richer and tougher than what it is portrayed in our world today.
•
God’s love requires us to die to ourselves where the worlds love is centered around us. Although the second part seems better it’s not. It’s toxic. We often don’t realize but what we’ve portrayed in our world as love is really lust.
•
Gods love however is beautiful, rich and freeing. It’s worth the growth and sacrifice. It is true love because God is love. I pray for you to encounter the overwhelming, good and gracious love of Jesus today & everyday.

I wanted to hop on and share this encouragement I made a few months ago. Sometimes you can feel like you’re doing the right thing & getting no where. This is where trust in God comes in. Resilience comes from God. We only know how to push through because of Jesus.

God’s will is perfect, pleasing and good. It’s worth pushing through. It’s worth trusting Him because He is good.
