Politics, branding, budgets, gentrification, erasure… the culture is constantly negotiating its place in the city.

And yet, artists keep pushing.
Communities keep documenting.
The movement keeps evolving.

If we want this culture to grow, we need to:
• support artists, not just murals
• trust creators to lead
• protect graffiti’s roots
• document what the streets can’t keep
• question who controls the visual landscape
• keep public space public

Urban art deserves more than decoration.
It deserves a future shaped by the people who live it.

FRESH ON THE MAP
Our friendly neighborhood and verified artist just completed this banger for in Guadeloupe.

"Le Raizet shaped this wall as much as I painted it. Beige for sand, turquoise for water, yellow for the sun — rising from the street into abstraction, just like the rhythm of Guadeloupe itself. A mural that became part of the neighborhood’s daily flow.": shared the artist.

The composition (look how the airco unit is integrated), the color palette, a signature Does.
Almost making you forget his graffiti roots😱

ARTIST UPLOAD OF THE DAY.
Amazing new work by for in Penelles 🇪🇸

The Lisboa artist Patricia popped on the radar last year and has been rocking the streets ever since.

For this mural 'Trigo' she explored the profound and vital connection between women and the rural landscape. The piece features a central female figure holding a basket of wheat, but the core narrative lies in the symbolic opening in her chest, from which the grain flows freely.

This work serves as a visual metaphor: women are not merely observers or workers of the land; they are the pulsing heart of agricultural life itself. Through this imagery, I wanted to celebrate female strength and their indispensable role in the heritage and continuity of rural communities.

The flow of wheat from within the figure represents a source of life and sustenance, bridging the gap between the human spirit and the earth that provides for us. In a place like Penelles, where the agricultural identity is so present, this mural stands as a tribute to the unseen force that has sustained these lands for generations.

10 year anniversary was a blast! The amount of talent on site this weekend was mind-blowing. It felt like a homecoming and now that we left we feel a bit lost.
