Judith Trefaut

Judith Trefaut is an artisan, designer and artist based in Brussels (b. 1996, Belgium). After training in fashion design at La Cambre, she found her way to craftsmanship through leatherwork.

Fascinated by the bonds we form with objects, she explores how containers become extensions of ourselves and carriers of identity. Drawing on the techniques and codes of traditional leathercraft, she plays with objects and accessories, opening up new ways of relating to them. Leather is stitched, moulded, covered as a means of exploring material transformation.

Mina Enowaki

Mina Enowaki’s practice is in constant motion, shifting between image, object, and space. Forms emerge, travel, and transform through photographs, drawings, sculptures, and structural paintings, each incarnation contributing to the evolving life of the work. Natural fragments shaped by time, such as stones, fossils, and bones, are central to her work as sources of inspiration. Often overlooked as simple remnants, they carry traces of life that once passed through them. She engages with these forms as vessels of presence, exploring the idea that natural objects can hold subtle forces. Enowaki is drawn to the creation of forms that seem to arise from ancient times while simultaneously appearing as if they belong to a distant future.

Her paintings and structural works draw from architectural forms from Japanese design, such as sliding panels or screens, extending this sense of movement into space. They divide, frame, and animate environments, functioning at once as surfaces to pass through, volumes to inhabit, and images to encounter.
Her sculptures share this sensibility: organic forms that carry energy, poised between stillness and motion, drawing the viewer’s attention with quiet presence. Across her practice, Enowaki constructs environments where forms, objects, and space coexist. Each piece becomes a threshold: a stone as sentinel, a panel as passage, a sculpture as companion.

Wip collective .i.p.collective

wip collective is a visual arts duo founded by Thibaut Drouillon and Jérôme Boulanger. Together, they gather public images and literary forms whose function and use render their graphic and semantic composition invisible within the public sphere. Their multidisciplinary work reuses these images and linguistic forms to question the power dynamics at play and highlight their absurdity.

PRESENTATION OF RESIDENT
Barbora Žilinskaitė

Barbora Žilinskaitė (b. 1996) is a Lithuanian artist and designer based in Brussels, Belgium. Seeking to distance herself from rigid definitions of creative practice, Žilinskaitė approaches design through a sculptural lens, with a strong emphasis on material experimentation. Her work explores how functional objects can shift into something symbolic, performative, and alive through the use of anthropomorphic forms. By giving everyday objects a bodily presence, she invites a more intimate and imaginative dialogue with the material world and the environment around us.

Her practice questions the divisions we draw between the human and the non-human, encouraging moments where logic softens and more intuitive, less visible layers of experience can emerge. Through forms that carry character and presence, she explores the boundaries between logic and fantasy, the animate and the inanimate, and control and agency, asking how we might live with our environment rather than simply in it.

She graduated in Product and Spatial Design from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2019 and has since developed an independent practice in Brussels. Žilinskaitė’s work is presented by Friedman Benda and is included in public collections such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and the Odunpazarı Modern Museum.

Adèle Pasquier

Adèle Pasquier or Adl (whichever your prefer) is a multidisciplinary artist holder of a degree in sculpture, graphic design, and communication.�Her practice unfolds through performative, scriptural, and sculptural work, moving fluidly between her kitchen and her studio. She writes texts based on everyday thoughts and fleeting ideas, which then become sculptural pieces made from reclaimed materials—plywood and eggplants placed on the same level. From there, playful titles emerge, and the work often culminates in performance.
Reuse and transformation are at the core of her practice, shaping a diverse body of work that invites viewers to participate, touch, speak, eat, and listen. Her productions function as tools placed at the audience’s disposal, encouraging interaction and shared experience. Nothing is fixed: everything moves, shifts, and evolves within a consciously meta and open-ended process.
Her reflections are approached with humor, distance, and poetry, within a highly colorful universe that resists aestheticization for its own sake. Color, tone, and form are carefully considered, each element contributing to a broader space for thought and encounter.
Adèle is particularly interested in the relationship between word and matter and in the choice of language she shares. Moving from Duras to Lily au royaume des nuages by Kitty Crowther, she explores the idea that everything can be transmitted to everyone, as long as we pay attention to our points of connection.
Sometimes Adèle curates. Sometimes she doesn’t.

PRESENTATION OF RESIDENT
Lila Vennat

Lila’s work revolves around an ongoing search for fluidity in forms and meanings. Their practice explores the relationships between space, bodies, and materials, approaching the built environment and everyday structures as something malleable and open to transformation. Working across sculpture, textile, ceramics and video, they seek to shift how familiar spatial forms are perceived and inhabited.

Grids, barriers, containers, or other elements that organize space often appear in their work, but they are displaced through processes of weaving, knotting, and assembling. Ropes, padded textiles, ceramic pieces, and synthetic materials are combined to build structures that bend, stretch, or hang under their own weight. Through these gestures, forms associated with stability or control become flexible and uncertain.

"TIME TABLE"

La dernière réunion de l’année vient de s’achever. Les résident·es ont filé·es, les chaises sont en vrac, l’odeur de café tamise encore la pièce. Time Table est une exposition qui réunit les résident·es de Bardaf pour un premier geste collectif inaugural. Cela fait bientôt un an que le collectif travaille à l’organisation socio-culturelle du lieu qui vous ouvre ses portes. Les tasses se sont accumulées dans les ateliers, les rencontres se sont succédées autour de la machine à café, les nombreuses réunions et les élans de création sur-caféinés ont abouti. Chaque résident·e a été invité·e à se réapproprier un mug, objet du quotidien renvoyant aussi aux réunions d’entreprise. Ami·e discret·e des moments de travail, de pause et d’échange, la tasse devient ici un support d’expérimentation, transformé selon les univers et les sensibilités de chacun·e. Time Table propose ainsi avec humour un instantané des échanges organisationnels, des habitudes et des conversations qui rythment le quotidien de Bardaf et nourrissent la vie collective de l’atelier.

Carlín Díaz

The paintings of Carlín Díaz exist between two worlds: the imaginary and the concrete, one volatile and the other subject to gravity. Populated by simplified forms and personal symbols — humans, plants, stars, trees, water — his works create a visual vocabulary in which each element shares its role with the others. Through their simplicity, these elements, whether figures or backgrounds, become vessels of energy. The sky is therefore just as important as the sun or the tree; every component contributes to an overall vibration.

Carlín Díaz grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, a city suspended between the vibrant energy of urban life and the imposing presence of El Ávila, the mountain that surrounds the valley. From an early age, he was fascinated by this encounter between two sublimes: the silent immensity of the mountain and the luminous, vibrating pulse of the city. This dialogue between organic and artificial worlds became a foundation for his evolving visual language, where landscapes, figures, and energies coexist in constant transformation.

Carlín Díaz seeks to create moments in which the invisible becomes tangible, where the energy of an instant or an object seems to vibrate intensely. He paints to relive these sensations, to come closer to them, and to regenerate, again and again, the emotions they provoke — a way of making an inner experience tangible.

Within his painterly language, space is inhabited by multiple forms of vitality, where the human is no longer the measure of all things, but merely one presence among others — human, vegetal, hybrid. The figures that populate his works are not there to illustrate an idea, but to embody a connection: they emerge from a gaze, from a sensitive projection, sometimes from a silent conversation. This world has lived within him for a long time. It is nourished by recollections, sensations, and reveries. Through painting, he seeks to give it form, so that he may finally see it. And he stops painting when he feels that vibration.

Julia Renaudot .renaudot

Julia Renaudot's work stems from a kind of escapism, a drift in perspective that opens her attention to unstable phenomena: that which wavers, disappears, or transforms. Closely connected to the contexts in which her works are situated, the artist explores how the image interacts with its environment: how it adapts, transforms, or sometimes dissolves within it.
This constant interplay between spaces and images, forms and materials, nourishes a hybrid practice where the image becomes a space in its own right; and conversely, space becomes image, a shifting surface.
