🎨 What I love about opening my studio in South Africa is the pure magic of sharing a space filled with creativity, heart, and connection. 💫 Being able to show up authentically, share my knowledge, and foster a community through art feels like living my purpose fully.

Art, for me, has always been more than just creating—it’s healing, inspiring, and deeply human. It’s about inviting people into the process, showing them that their unique imprint matters, and reminding them that the most powerful thing they can be is themselves.

Giroli Studio

An inclusive, unique, and non-judgmental painting space for personal wellbeing and self-expression.

"Giroli" (swirls) is the first (brush) stroke that toddlers use when they consciously express themselves. Children repeat the giroli until their motor development allows them to be more confident in their expression and figure drawing. The Giroli Studio is a specially designed studio to practice the 'Painting Game' according to Arno Stern's “Closlieu” requirements.

Mindful Painting Game

What do you bring out when you create not for someone else, but purely from yourself? You paint without judgment, without rules, without "having to." You do get to experiment, ask questions and meet. You are not judged, but you learn to make your own choices, without regard to the expectations created by society. You overcome inhibitions and blockages in your thinking, you learn to become more balanced. The painting game in the Giroli Studio promotes skills that lead to the development and strengthening of the personality. This is the power of creativity and art.
