We’re excited to finally present our brand-new original animated short film — GULARU, created by Cycore Studios.
This story isn’t just about a curious little boy — it’s also a showcase of what’s possible with the future of animation. The entire film was built inside Unreal Engine 5 and rendered completely in real-time using only one GPU — no long render queues, just pure storytelling driven by creativity and technology.

GULARU reflects the simplicity, wonder, and fearless imagination of childhood.

Cycore Studios is proud to share highlights from our recent participation in two prestigious events that are shaping the future of the animation industry:

🇲🇾 At LEVEL UP KL 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, we engaged with industry leaders and pioneers, exchanging insights and exploring opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

🇰🇷 At the Suncheon Animation Festival in South Korea, we were honored to be invited by the Korean government as one of 40 global animation studios to participate. The event provided a platform for valuable discussions with top studios and creative minds.

During the festival, we achieved a significant milestone by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with XION Plus, a leading Korean animation company. This partnership will see us collaborating on their upcoming animated series, marking an exciting new chapter for both studios.

We are grateful to the organizers of these events and to everyone who shared their vision and creativity with us. These experiences reaffirm our commitment to fostering global collaboration and delivering world-class animation.

Yesterday at 10:30 pm, we lost our dear colleague and brother, Mahmud Sumit. It's difficult to come to terms with the fact that we had worked and laughed together just the day before. Sumit was not only one of the most skilled artists but also a vibrant and cheerful soul. He single-handedly led our product visualization department and elevated it to the level it stands at today. He had a genuine love for what he did and his passion and dedication will always be remembered. We are deeply saddened by his passing, and words cannot express the grief we feel. While we will miss his presence, his legacy will live on through his works. May Allah grant him Jannah and provide comfort to his family and friends during this tough time. Ameen

Metro Rail is a major infrastructure project that will have a significant impact on the city and its residents. It will provide a reliable and efficient mode of transportation for millions of people, helping to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality. Cycore Studios is proud to be a part of it. Cycore Studios was involved with MRT project since 2019 and has created several animations and visualizations for MRT line 1 and MRT line 6.
