Presenting the Winners of This Week’s Task!!

This week we challenged our artists to step into the darkness and bring out their creativity to light working exclusively with white color on black paper.

After carefully reviewing all the submissions, we are delighted to present the three winning artworks of this week’s task,celebrating creativity beyond limitations.

জন্মাষ্টমী হলো সনাতন ধর্মাবলম্বীদের একটি অন্যতম প্রধান ধর্মীয় উৎসব, যা সনাতন ধর্মাবলম্বীগণ আজকের এই দিন শ্রীকৃষ্ণের জন্মতিথি বা জন্মোৎসব হিসেবে পালন করে।

তাঁর জীবন আমাদের ভালোবাসা, সত্য, ধৈর্য আর ন্যায়ের পথে চলার শিক্ষা দেয়। জীবনে যত কঠিন সময়ই আসুক, সঠিক পথে থেকে নিজের বিশ্বাস আর ভালো কাজগুলো ধরে রাখার সাহস যেন আমরা সবসময় পাই,এটাই হোক আজকের দিনের প্রার্থনা।

Presenting the Winners of This Week’s Task!

This week, we challenged our artists to explore the beauty of recycling and reusing by creating beautiful pieces of artwork using waste materials.

August 2026 featured several key international environmental and wildlife awareness days, focusing on conservation, indigenous land stewards, and aquatic ecosystems. In honour of these causes, the final task of the month was dedicated to environmental awareness and sustainability.

Everyone submitted such brilliant and creative works that we couldn’t just pick three winners we had to pick five!

Here are the winning artworks of this week’s task, celebrating creativity beyond limitations.

Celebrating a prolific visionary, a defender of Neoclassicism, and a master of precise, elegant line drawing.

Happy birthday to Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres (1780–1867).

A French Neoclassical painter, Ingres was profoundly influenced by the artistic traditions of classical antiquity and the Renaissance. He aspired to become a guardian of academic orthodoxy in opposition to the rising Romantic movement. He was a sought after portraitist who captured the sleek elegance of the 19th-century elite, such as in Portrait of Madame Moitessier and the Comtesse d'Haussonville. Some of his most celebrated works are Napoleon I on His Imperial Throne and Grande Odalisque.

On this day, we at BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Art Club celebrate the paradoxical legacy he left behind as a defender of Neoclassicism and the supremacy of line and draftsmanship who became a vital precursor to modern art.

On this sacred day of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi we commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammadﷺ. The life of the Prophet Muhammadﷺ brought light to the world through kindness, wisdom, mercy and love towards others.

The guidance of the Prophet Muhammadﷺ reflects the splendor of kindness, patience, honesty and respect for all people. The day of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi calls us to reflect on the virtues demonstrated by the Prophet Muhammadﷺ and incorporate them into our way of life. The message of the Prophet Muhammadﷺ continues to inspire generation after generation leading us to harmony, unity and virtue.

On this special day,BAF Shaheen College Dhaka art club wishes everyone a blessed Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ . May this holy day of enrich our souls with faith, thankfulness and compassion. May we emulate the Prophet Muhammadﷺ in all our actions and words.

This week, we challenged our artists to explore the beauty of simplicity through a unique constraint
Creating an artwork using only one color.

With a single color as their only medium each artist had to rely on creativity, contrast, depth, composition, and imagination to bring their ideas to life.

ঠাকুমার ঝুলি এবার খুলবে
শোনো শোনো, ঠাকুমা গল্প বলবে!
ঠাকুমা ঝুলি খুলবে, মজার গল্প বলবে!

ফিরে চলি সেই ছোট্টবেলার রূপকথার জগতে যেখানে ছিল রাজকুমার, দৈত্য, রহস্যময় প্রাণী, জাদুর রাজ্য আর অফুরন্ত কল্পনা!

এই সপ্তাহের “ঠাকুরমার ঝুলি” টাস্কে শিল্পীরা রং-তুলির ছোঁয়ায় ফিরিয়ে এনেছে সেই চেনা গল্পগুলোকে, তবে একেবারে নিজেদের নতুন ভাবনায়। প্রতিটি ছবিতে ছিল আলাদা গল্প, আলাদা অনুভূতি, আর শৈশবের এক টুকরো স্মৃতি।

সবার অসাধারণ সৃষ্টির ভিড়ে মাত্র তিনজনকে বেছে নেওয়া সত্যিই কঠিন ছিল। তাই এবার তিনজন নয় পাঁচজন বিজয়ী!

১ম স্থান: ফৌজিয়া আলম রিপা (মেম্বারশিপ ডিরেক্টর, স্কুল শাখা)

২য় স্থান: তানজিনা রিফা (ক্লাব রিপ্রেজেন্টেটিভ)

৩য় স্থান: রুকাইয়া তাসনিম ইকরা (ক্লাব রিপ্রেজেন্টেটিভ)

৪র্থ স্থান:শুজুনা অর্পা (ক্রিয়েটিভ ডিরেক্টর, স্কুল প্যানেল)

৫ম স্থান:সামি (সাধারণ সদস্য, কলেজ শাখা)

বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ আর্ট ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে সকল বিজয়ীকে জানাই আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন! আর যারা অংশগ্রহণ করেছো, তোমাদের প্রত্যেকের জন্য রইলো ভালোবাসা ও কৃতজ্ঞতা। তোমাদের সৃজনশীলতা, সাহস আর নিজস্ব ভাবনাই এই আয়োজনকে করেছে আরও রঙিন।

চলো, রঙের ছোঁয়ায় আবারও ফিরে যাই সেই গল্পের দেশে!
