We are deeply saddened to share that Mr. Badrul Alam, Owner of Shonar Bangla Sound (S.B. Sound), passed away from a heart attack this morning, Sunday, 31st August 2025.

On behalf of the Sylhet Musical Bands Association (SMBA), we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family during this time of great loss.

May Allah grant him Jannah and give his loved ones the strength to endure this sorrow.

🎸 RockStorm Vol. 15 Set Sylhet on Fire! 🔥

What an unforgettable night! On 16th August, the Sylhet Musical Band Association (SMBA) proudly hosted RockStorm Vol. 15, where our incredible local bands absolutely owned the stage. From start to finish, the energy was electric! ⚡

A huge shoutout to our sound and lighting crew for delivering a flawless experience, and heartfelt thanks to Andrio Das and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a reality. 🙌

For the first time ever, we introduced ticketed entry—and you all showed up in style! Your overwhelming support means the world to us. 💙 This motivates us to plan another bigger and better show this winter, so stay tuned!

Special thanks to the Sylhet Metropolitan Police - SMP , City Special Branch (CTSB), and our Police Commissioner for ensuring a safe and secure event. Your cooperation made everything possible. 🙏

Of course, hats off to every SMBA member for their dedication and hard work. Together, we’re taking local bands closer to the mainstream stage—with your continued love and support! 💥
