🚆 Announcement #1: Prepping DAT's 18th Season
I'm thrilled to announce that Dramatic Adventure Theatre just returned from an incredible Creative Trek across Slovakia! In fact, I drafted this announcement on board a train from Bratislava to Kosice. We've been refreshing old partnerships, establishing new connections, and strategizing for an amazing 2024 season. We also had the privilege of running theatre workshops in the Roma communities we serve, contributing to a week-long cross-cultural education event with ETP Slovensko.

Expect big things next summer in the Heart of Europe (Czechia and Slovakia) as we're already planning for an epic 2024 - DAT's 18th Season! There are so many exciting projects and collaborations in the works, and we can't wait to reveal all the details in September/October.

👶 Announcement #2: Welcoming Second Kiddo Baxter
In personal news, Maryka Baxter and I are overjoyed to share that we are expecting our second child! Second Kiddo Baxter is due on October 1st, which happens to be our daughter's 10th birthday. It's a boy! You can follow our baby journey with on Instagram. Mary is doing great, Big sister is adjusting to the idea of having a little brother, and I'm still in awe of the upcoming arrival. We're beyond excited to welcome him into our adventurous family and begin his term as Resident Baby at Dramatic Adventure Theatre.

🚀 Announcement #3: Introducing DATx Membership
This Fall we are launching DATx - the Dramatic Adventure Theatre Experience - a new membership platform designed to unite our incredible community. It's been a long time coming!

DATx will be your home, a vibrant hub where artists, audience members, adventurers, and changemakers unite to explore art, embark on adventures, and fuel their passions. As a DATx member, you'll have access to a range of exciting experiences, including micro-adventures, cross-cultural encounters, exclusive downloads, BTS content, community updates, and so much more. Whether it's virtual or in-person, we're excited to create transformative experiences together.

You never know what you will encounter when you are on the road. These unexpected and unplanned "Chance Encounters" stick in your memory. What are the odds of that moment happening? What does it mean?!?!! Every "Chance Encounter" is a great story. They are those special moments when we see, meet, love, or share in something precious -- horizons are broadened, knowledge grows, empathy expands, and usually you are left feeling stunned. Sometimes -- maybe most times -- the person you really encountered in such an experience was yourself. And that's why these stories are so damn good -- they need to be shared! Tonight, DAT's digital campfire will be burning bright as we share our adventures together at TRAVELOGUE, our travel storytelling series.
