Chesterfield Gilbert & Sullivan Society

Chesterfield Gilbert & Sullivan Society Unfortunately the Society has folded. The society was first formed in 1971, and began by performing concert versions of the works of Gilbert and Sullivan.

In 1981 the society made the transition from concerts to fully staged productions at the Pomegranate Theatre in Chesterfield. The society is a NODA member, and a non-profit society.

The concert will feature all of Andrew's musical groups:
Holymoorside Choir
Baslow Choir
Musikwork
Cantiamo.

The Society's small props are stored in a room on Saltergate, Chesterfield....these can be taken away by any local G and S society.
We don't want to throw them away!!

Snow update (19/11) ⬇️

The Hardwick estate will be open today from 12pm along with the Stableyard facilities, gift shop and restaurant. The house will be fully closed.

If you are planning on visiting today please note that the car park may be slippery due to the weather, we recommend visiting in vehicles suitable for snow travel only.
