Lakshyapar campaigns for classical music.

Official page for LAKSHYAPAR (pronounced lok khaa paar), a cultural organization dedicated to the expansion of practice of Indian Classical Music. It is dedicated, particularly, to the expansion of practice of Indian Classical Music. It is a non-commercial, charitable organization. It is a mission. Its philosophical basis is the belief that classical music has a profound influence on the composition of the human mind; it has the capacity to soften the hearts, deepen the feelings and widen the views of its devotees. One may remember Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Saheb: If there were one classical musician in every home, India-Pakistan would not have to separate!! We are motivated to walk on for a society where most of its members will be sensitive, responsible and free from all prejudice that lead to violence. A peaceful earth is our dream.

We deeply mourn the passing of renowned artist, master puppeteer, and cultural pioneer Mustafa Monwar, who left us on June 29, 2026. His extraordinary contributions to fine arts, television, and puppet theatre have profoundly shaped Bangladesh’s cultural heritage. From inspiring hope through puppet performances in refugee camps during the 1971 Liberation War to serving in key leadership roles at Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, his legacy will continue to inspire generations. In recognition of his lifelong dedication to the arts, he was honored with the Ekushey Padak in 2004.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives were touched by his remarkable work. May his soul rest in peace, and may his enduring legacy continue to illuminate our cultural journey.

একুশে পদকপ্রাপ্ত দেশবরেণ্য নজরুল সংগীতশিল্পী ডালিয়া নওশীনের প্রয়াণে আমরা গভীর শোকাহত।

১৯৭১ সালে মুক্তিযুদ্ধের উত্তাল সময়ে স্বাধীন বাংলা বেতার কেন্দ্রের সাথে যুক্ত থেকে গানের মাধ্যমে তিনি প্রেরণা যুগিয়েছেন। একজন শিল্পী হিসেবে যেমন ছিলেন অনন্য তেমনি একজন দেশপ্রেমিক কন্ঠযোদ্ধা হিসেবে তাঁর অবদান চিরস্মরণীয় হয়ে থাকবে।

নজরুল সংগীতে তাঁর অবদান এবং নিরলস সাধনা তাঁকে এনে দিয়েছে অনন্য সম্মান। ২০২০ সালে তিনি একুশে পদকে ভূষিত হন এবং ২০২২ সালে তিনি নজরুল পদক লাভ করেন। তাঁর প্রয়াণে বাঙালি সঙ্গীতাঙ্গনে এক অপূরণীয় শূন্যতা তৈরি হলো।
