DEVASTATED BY FLASH FLOOD
Rasuwagadhi-Timure border area in Nepal's Rasuwa district, near the China-Nepal border, has been severely devastated by a massive flash flood.
Before: A busy border corridor connecting Nepal with Gyirong (Kerung), Tibet, with roads, buildings, vehicles and border facilities.
After: Floodwaters and debris tore through the area, damaging roads, bridges, buildings and vehicles and leaving parts of the border corridor buried or swept away.
These before-and-after visuals show the dramatic transformation of the Himalayan border area following the August 26 flash floods.
