In October 1943, the N***s planned to round up all 7,800 Jews in Denmark. A German diplomat leaked the plan, and within days, ordinary Danes organized a massive rescue. Fishermen, doctors, and neighbors hid Jews in homes, hospitals, and churches, then ferried them across the sea to neutral Sweden. Over 95% of Danish Jews survived the Holocaust.

In 1940, British mathematician Alan Turing and his team at Bletchley Park built a machine to break the German Enigma code. In 1944, German industrialist Oskar Schindler saved over 1,200 Jews by employing them in his factories in Krakow and Czechoslovakia. He spent his entire fortune bribing N**i officials and buying black-market supplies to keep his workers alive. He created what became known as Schindler's List. Sophie Scholl, her brother Hans, and friends printed and distributed leaflets calling Germans to resist Hi**er. During a brutal assault on Hacksaw Ridge, his unit was forced to retreat, leaving dozens of wounded men behind. In 1939, British stockbroker Nicholas Winton was visiting Prague when he saw the danger facing Jewish children after the N**i occupation. He set up an office in his hotel room and began forging documents and finding foster families in England. He organized eight trains that rescued 669 children. His work was unknown for 50 years until his wife found a scrapbook in their attic in 1988.
