Shunno is a space from where artists sculpt the clouds of their ever-changing moods, turn them into a cosmology of infinite possibilities manifested in visions, shaped in colours, forms and other aesthetic variables, inaugurating sequences of progression ad infinitum. Training, inspiring and supporting the artists in need, Shunno also works with emerging talents -- prodigies who have had little op
portunity to explore their potential to the full. Within the broader purview of promoting art and artists, Shunno explores a wide range of avenues exhibiting Bangladeshi artworks abroad and on internet, and above all utilising the information super highway to freight Bangladeshi art into the global arena. To frame an art studio around the concept of Zero or Shunno means to have aligned all activities to the voidness or zeroness that awaits the arrival or appearance of artistic visions and ideas from the artists we collaborate with. True to the tradition of creativity that trails back to the earliest human history, Shunno offers a public space for people with a creative bend of mind. Leveraging the paraphernalia made available to them as well as the creative climate the studio offers, which is also a space for interaction, at Shunno artists thrive on opportunities to grow from within as well as together. In brief, Shunno is a mission to create a reliable springboard from where the artists operate to make visible their visions, diversify their styles and strategies, while the organisers make constant efforts in popularising, promoting artworks through a synergistic outcome of extensive marketing and communication.
