HEED Handicrafts is a Fair Trade organization, proudly empowering artisans since 1978. As a subsidiary of HEED Bangladesh, a non-profit established in 1974, our mission is to create sustainable livelihoods for marginalized and disadvantaged communities across Bangladesh. We specialize in producing eco-friendly, handcrafted products using locally sourced materials, preserving traditional craftsmanship. Our artisans benefit from skill development, training, and market opportunities both locally and internationally. Our goal is to uplift over 10,000 artisansโ€”60% of whom are womenโ€”ensuring their livelihoods while contributing to the national economy. Through fair trade, environmental sustainability, and a commitment to preserving cultural heritage, HEED Handicrafts plays a vital role in Bangladesh's development.
