Lately, I’ve been realizing something over n over again.. no matter how hard we try, there are certain things in life that will always remain beyond our reach until the right moment arrives. We are all somehow confined within the limits of what is meant for us. Sometimes, even after pouring our whole heart into something, we still can’t receive what we desperately want before its destined time.

A flower never blooms too early, nor too late. It blossoms exactly when the season is right for it. I think the desires and achievements in our lives are just like that too.

we don’t judge actions, we judge appearances. We forgive cruelty when it looks pleasant. We condemn the truth when it looks harsh. And somewhere between beauty and darkness, we realize that good and evil are not always what they seem.

Franz Kafka (1883–1924) never married. When he was 40, he was walking through a park in Berlin and met a young girl who was crying because she had lost her favorite doll. Kafka helped her search, but they couldn’t find it. He told her to come back the next day so they could continue looking. When she returned, Kafka handed her a letter he said was from the doll. It read: “Don’t cry. I’ve gone on a journey to see the world. I’ll write to you about my adventures.” From then on, he brought her new letters each day, filled with imaginative stories about the doll’s travels. The letters comforted the girl and helped ease her sadness. Eventually, Kafka gave her a new doll. When she said it didn’t look like the old one, he gave her a final note: “I’ve changed during my travels.” Years later, as a young woman, she reportedly discovered a hidden letter inside the doll signed by Kafka. It read: “Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another form.”
