𝐔𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐝: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 brought together BUET Dance Club × BUET Drama Society for an afternoon of movement, expression, laughter, and a little bit of beautiful chaos.

From exploring theatrical traditions to getting completely immersed in improv, Mirror Game, Simon Says, Killer Game and everything in between, the workshop gave us a chance to step outside our usual spaces, let go of inhibitions, and simply enjoy creating together.

A huge thank you to our wonderful facilitators Sithi Esra Ritchil, Kathak Biswas Joy and Shahi Farzana Tanzim Mimi for making the session so engaging, and to everyone who showed up with such enthusiasm and openness. ❤️

This was our first collaboration, but hopefully not our last. Here’s to more spaces where we get to learn something new, meet new people, and explore performance in much more depth.

And if you missed this one… well, you might want to keep an eye out for what’s next. 👀

20/09/2026

For the first time, BUET Dance Club and BUET Drama Society are coming together for an interactive workshop that explores the language of movement through dance, music, theatre and expression.

The workshop will bring together both the theory and practice of performing arts, giving you an opportunity to learn, experiment, and discover new ways of approaching performance.

🌏 THEORETICAL SESSION
We’ll explore the contrasting theatrical traditions of the Orient and the Occident—their philosophies, aesthetics, approaches to performance, and the different ways they understand movement and expression.

🎭 PRACTICAL SESSION
And then, it’s time to put those ideas into practice!

Expect an engaging session filled with Simon Says, Killer Game, Mirror Game, Improv, and other fun group activities designed to get you moving, thinking, reacting and creating together.

Whether you’re a dancer looking to expand your expression, improvisation, body awareness and stage presence, or a theatre enthusiast interested in exploring physical expression, movement and non-verbal storytelling, there’s something for you to take away from this workshop.

And you don’t need to be an experienced performer to join. Come with an open mind, meet new people, and be ready to learn, play and explore.
