The Science Film Festival of the Goethe-Institut has been awarded the PRIX JEUNESSE Special Achievement in Children’s Media Award.

Presented in Munich, is one of the world’s leading organisations and awards dedicated to high-quality children’s and youth television and media.

Since 2005, the Science Film Festival has grown into one of the world’s largest events of its kind for science communication and sustainability education through film.

This recognition belongs to all the partners, organisers, educators and filmmakers who have shaped the festival over the past two decades.

✨ Day 2 of Zine Mela 2026 brought another day of creativity, experimentation, and connection.

Participants explored creative writing without rules, imagined new possibilities through Imagine Your Power, and discovered how numbers can become tools for creative image-making. Throughout the day, the Mela continued to be a space for sharing ideas, making zines, and building community.

The evening closed with performances by Rimjhim, Dameer Khan and NETBABY bringing the weekend to an energetic and memorable end.

Day 1 of Zine Mela 2026 was a celebration of creativity, storytelling, art, and community.

From printmaking and playful writing to weaving, therapeutic zine-making, and workshops for young creators, the day was filled with opportunities to make, learn, and connect. Highlights included our discussion on Zines for Teaching & Learning, featuring guest speaker Mr. Frank Werner, Director of Goethe-Institut Bangladesh, and an open mic that brought the day to a lively close.
