Join Makbul Chowdhury's directorial exploration of Nasir Ali Mamun's visionary portraits in film ‘In Praise of Shadows' on May 20th at Project Banani 18. A 62-minute documentary narrative that transcends borders, this film looks into the life and legacy of this renowned Bangladeshi portrait photographer. There will be two screenings of this documentary, on the same day.

A four day exhibition on bangla calligraphy by Arham Chowdhury begins at Project Banani 18 in collaboration with The Bangu Vegan. 52 artworks have been donated by the artist to raise funds for the welfare of street dogs in Dhaka that will be managed by Obhoyaronno - Bangladesh Animal Welfare Foundation. The opening night was inaugurated by Mr. Asaduzzaman Noor.

Every day 3pm-8pm till 24th Feb we are open. Come down and support the cause.

Packed with such an eager and talented bunch of kids and adults coming from all parts of the city to learn about about stop motion animation. It fills our heart to see the dedication and determination towards creative aspiration that these individuals have taken. And especially for the children’s class, we owe a heartfelt thank you to the passionate parents who know no boundaries when it comes to providing their little artists a platform to grow and explore at.
